12 Days of Christmas Giveaways 2017 - Day 1 | #BookGiveaway

Welcome to Day 1 of the 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways for 2017!

Yay! It is that time of year again.

12 days of Christmas Giveaways!

Welcome, welcome, welcome.

I am so glad that you have stopped by my website to participate in the fun this year. Each day will have its own giveaway that will run for 7 days. You can enter all of the giveaways or just the ones that strike your fancy. Many of the giveaways will only be open to US residents (shipping costs you know 🙁 sorry), but I will have a few open internationally.

Every day will have a special word that you will need to put together the special quote for the Day 12 giveaway. That quote and entry in one of the other 11 giveaways will be required to enter the Day 12 giveaway.

This giveaway is for 3 Love Inspired contemporary romance books: A Ranger for the Holidays by Allie Pleiter, Operation: Married by Christmas by Debra Clopton, and A Mom for Christmas by Lorraine Beatty.

Today’s special word is: Books

As I have learned more about writing while I create my fictional stories, I have developed a deeper appreciation for the authors who have traveled this road before me. It is a tough job to craft the words that bring characters and stories alive for the reader.

There are so many great authors that I have split up the alphabet to list a few. I have been enjoying Nancy Atherton’s ‘Aunt Dimity’ series, and this year I discovered Christy Barritt (romantic suspense) and Jennifer Delamere (historical romance).

Who are some authors that you have loved this year?

To enter the giveaway, just fill out the Rafflecopter form below. Open to readers with USA mailing addresses only. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited by law. The winner will be notified via email and will have one week to respond back to me with their info. Good Luck and Thank You for stopping by!

The comment requirement for this giveaway is: Name an author (with a last name from A-F) who you have enjoyed reading this year.

    1. Tamera is a good author. I haven’t read any of her current books, but they are on my list. Thanks for commenting Lucy. 🙂

  1. Can’t pick one so going to say Tamera Alexander that was a new author to me this year that I loved reading her books and Wanda E. Brunstetter for one I’ve known about and dearly loved reading more of her books.

  3. I’m going to say Pepper Basham. She is a wonderful author, and I’ve enjoyed every book of hers I’ve read.

  4. Lynette Eason. I’ve really been enjoying her “Elite Guardians” series this year– so good! 🙂

    1. Lynette is one of my absolute favorite authors! I’ve read her other series, but I haven’t gotten to Elite Guardians yet. Thanks for sharing Aerykah. 🙂

    1. No problem Sabrina, there will be other opportunities to share the authors with other last names. Keep coming back! 🙂

  5. Haha, I’m going with the popular answer of Tamera Alexander. I finally got to read some of her books this year, and oh my, they were good! Good faith, yummy romance, and riveting plot lines!

  6. I haven’t read too many A-F authors so I’ll go with Tamera Alexander with her “Christmas at Carnton” being the first story I’ve ever read by her. I know, I’m SO far behind…lol! I’ve also read a few by Wanda Brunstetter as well.

Thanks for the very generous giveaway Loraine! Books are always a great Christmas present to myself 🙂

  7. I’ve read so many books this year, it’s hard to pick one author. But, I read a couplet Tamera Alexander. Her books are always amazing!

  8. I’ve enjoyed The Worst Detective series by Christy Barritt this year. She’s a great writer. Thanks for the giveaway.

  9. Tamera Alexander here too! I read all three of her Belle Meade Plantation novels and enjoyed each of them.

  10. There are so many! I’ve read about 140 books so far this year. So, I’m just going to look at my Goodreads reading challenge and pick the last one that I really enjoyed….Margaret Daley (Lone Star Christmas Rescue).

    1. 140? Wow Jasmine! I love that. I’m struggling to meet my 60 goal this year. I haven’t read Margaret’s books in quite awhile, but I believe I have some of them on my TBR list. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

  11. I’ve enjoyed reading Elizabeth Camden. Thanks for the opportunity of this giveaway, Loraine!!!

  12. Heidi Chiavaroli – loved her debut novel this year, Freedom’s Ring.
