Now we all know that Christmas is about giving rather than receiving, but let’s be honest here. It’s pretty nice to receive as well, isn’t it? I love the giving aspect of Christmas but there are going to be times when I have to receive in order to give. For example, I will be receiving gifts from my husband and children in order to give them the joy of giving to someone they love. Get it?

So I want to know… what is on your Christmas list this year?

  1. One of the things that I want for Christmas is snow. I know no one but God has control over that but it would be amazing. I’ve never had the opportunity to see real snow before other than very little accumulation since we usually got ice. However, this year we moved into our dream home in the Ozark Mountains so there is a chance. 🙂

As you get old our desire for things diminish. I’m happy with being able to spend it with the love of my life, my amazing husband of 34 years, good food on the table and pray for good health in 2017. Of course, IF someone wanted to gift me with or lean me some books, I wouldn’t turn them down either. 🙂 Merry Christmas!

  2. Time spent with family I suppose. I haven’t really received much for Christmas gifts in years…Can’t go wrong with saying I’d love good books for Christmas!

    1. Personally, I find books to be the best presents Jasmine. But my family has a hard time getting those for me because the list of what I want and what I have is so large. 🙂 Thanks for commenting.

  3. I’m happy to get more books! You can never have too many. I don’t care how high my TBR piles get! Haha
