Welcome to Day 4 of the 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways for 2018!

The Rules: Each day will have its own giveaway that will run for 7 days. You can enter all of the giveaways or just the ones that strike your fancy.Β Many of the giveaways will only be open to US residents (shipping costs you know πŸ™ sorry), but I will have a few open internationally.

Every day there will be special word(s) that you will need to put together the special quote for the Day 12 giveaway. That quote and entry in one of the other 11 giveaways will be required to enter the Day 12 giveaway.

This giveaway is for the contemporary suspense romances, Holiday Defenders by Debby Giusti, Susan Sleeman, Jodie Bailey, (my review here) and Undercover Protector by Elizabeth Goddard.

Today’s special word(s) is:Β the treasures

I have always loved looking at Christmas lights. When I was a kid, my dad would string some lights around the outside windows and around the porch railing. Now our family enjoys traveling around town to see the displays of other families.

What do you think about outdoor Christmas decorations?

  1. I mostly love looking at other people’s decorations, we have a neighbor just down the road who always has an amazing display each year and this year was no exception. Last Christmas my brother brought me a few strings of lights which I put up, now I need to go back through and check bulbs and fuses in hopes of putting some up this year.

    1. I so admire those people who are able to do great outdoor displays. It must be hard work. Thanks for sharing Jasmine. πŸ™‚

  2. The only Christmas decorations I have is the Christmas tree. I enjoy seeing other people’s light displays.

  3. We do have outdoor decorations and I love looking at all the bright, festive lights and decorations around my neighborhood too.

  4. The last couple of years my husband and I have put up an indoor tree and stockings and a lighted wreath on our front door. We’ve aged to the point that putting outdoor lights like we used to are too difficult.

    1. I sympathize with you Gail. My husband and I are getting to the point where we have to let our children handle any outdoor stuff. πŸ™‚ Thanks for sharing.

  5. We have some outdoor decorations but not like I used to. It’s just to hard with my fibromyalgia as I can’t tolerate the cold. Thank you for sharing.

    1. We have a store in our city that sells home interior stuff and they go all out with outdoor decorations. It is great marketing for them, but we just love walking around their displays. Thanks for commenting Mindy. πŸ™‚

  6. We put up lights on our roof and decorate a little on our porch, but that’s all we do outside.

    1. Wow. Just putting lights on the roof must be a little bit of work I would imagine. That’s great that you are able to do it Winnie. Thanks for sharing. πŸ™‚

  7. I have minimal outdoor Christmas decorations but I thoroughly enjoy looking at other Christmas displays πŸ™‚

  8. We don’t decorate outside , the only thing I have is a wreath on the door.

  9. Oops I gave my wrong Pinterest name. It is Paula Shreckhise, not lowercase. Sorry!

  10. I enjoy garland and “some” lights but not what I consider gaudy decorations with lighted figures. I know children enjoy them though..

  11. We don’t decorate outside too much. We don’t have good outlets to plug into and electricity is pretty expensive here.

  12. I used to but now my house sits up on a hill back off the road quite a ways so not anymore

  13. I live in an apt. but I decorate my outdoor patio with lots of colored lights and a mini lighted Christmas tree and a wreath on my back door.
