Welcome to Day 9 of the 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways for 2019!

The Rules: Each day will have its own giveaway that will run for 7 days. You can enter all of the giveaways or just the ones that strike your fancy. Many of the giveaways will only be open to US residents (shipping costs you know 🙁 sorry), but I will have a few open internationally.

Every day there will be special word(s) that you will need to put together the special quote for the Day 12 giveaway. That quote and entry in one of the other 11 giveaways will be required to enter the Day 12 giveaway.

This giveaway is for the historical romance novella collection, Old West Christmas Brides by Margaret Brownley, Rosey Dow, Darlene Franklin, Marcia Gruver, Vickie McDonough, and Debra Ullrick.

Today’s special word is: make

I’ve traveled around a little bit and enjoyed winter in different areas. From growing up in Michigan where winters were below zero temps with lots of snow to being in Texas where winter could be considered spring up north. 😉 My favorite thing is definitely not the cold temps. However, there is something about a first fresh snow (even just a sprinkling) that makes me smile.

To enter the giveaway, just fill out the Rafflecopter form below. Open to readers with USA mailing addresses only. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited by law. The winner will be notified via email and will have one week to respond back to me with their info. Good Luck and Thank You for stopping by!

The comment requirement for this giveaway is: What is your favorite thing about winter?

  1. I drink hot chocolate all year, even in the summer. The way I look at is what’s the difference between hot coffee/tea and hot cocoa…. But I do get some odd looks and a few comments so…one of my favorite things about winter is the freedom to drink hot chocolate unchallenged…

  2. One of my favorite things about winter is watching the snow fall and looking at its beauty on the pine trees especially when the cardinals are out. Merry Christmas

  3. Winter’s cold and snow and ice where I live plus the lack of sun most days make this season difficult for me physically and mentally, but I do appreciate the chance to wear all my cozy socks and sweaters.

  4. I love the beauty of snow! Since I’m retired, I can enjoy the quiet and peacefulness it brings. When I was younger, I loved going for walks in the snow and building snowmen…even as an adult!

  5. I live in central Texas so my favorite thing about winter is that it usually doesn’t get too cold. The rare snow or ice shuts this city down in a heartbeat. Our kids got to enjoy those rare days off from school.

    1. I remember loving snow days as a kid. I grew up in Michigan so we were guaranteed some of those days every year. 🙂 Thanks for sharing with us Perrianne.

  6. I really don’t like winter! But Chritmas is my favorite holiday that takes place in winter.

  7. Winter is when we get the majority of our rain for the year so that’s why I like winter.

  8. I try to remind myself that God created FOUR seasons when it is bitter cold. I do enjoy looking out at falling snow and seeing it accumulate but I don’t enjoy having to drive on slick roads. Winter is a time to enjoy reading and not having to justify the time spent!

  9. My favorite thing about winter is getting to wear cozy sweaters. I don’t like the cold much.

  10. My favorite thing about winter are the extra moments I get with my kids; I tend to take two weeks off from work during my kids’ school break.
