Welcome to Day 10 of the 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways for 2020!
The Rules: Each day will have its own giveaway that will run for 7 days. You can enter all of the giveaways or just the ones that strike your fancy. Many of the giveaways will only be open to US residents (shipping costs you know 🙁 sorry), but I will have a few open internationally.
Every day there will be special word(s) that you will need to put together the special quote for the Day 12 giveaway. That quote and entry in one of the other 11 giveaways will be required to enter the Day 12 giveaway.
This giveaway is for the historical romance, A Tale of Two Hearts by Michelle Griep.
Today’s special word is: rescue
Every year at this time our family is immersed in traditions. Some are newer than others. There is a comfort in them. It’s kinda like putting on your favorite sweater and shuffling around in fuzzy socks. Do you feel that way about holiday traditions?

I honestly can’t think of anything that I’d call a tradition… maybe on the super rare occasions that I read books to little kids I always do voices like my dad did when I was little…
Thanks for sharing Jasmine. 🙂
My reading tradition would be setting a Goodreads goal every New Year.
Thanks for sharing Danielle. I actually just reached my 2020 Goodreads goal today! I wasn’t sure I was going to make it. 🙂
Yay for reaching your reading goal! This pandemic has allowed me more reading time so I’ve also reached mine.
I don’t know that I have any reading traditions. I do set a Goodreads goal, but don’t stress if I don’t make it (don’t think I am going to make it this year) I read when I can, and read whatever strikes my fancy.
Thanks for sharing Patty. 🙂
No Tradition that I can think of I’ll read anywhere or anytime

I have a lot of children’s Christmas books, and when my youngest grandchildren come, they like to read some of the books. I have a few special pop-up Christmas books that we read together.
I already have this book by Michelle Griep and enjoyed it. In fact, I’ve already read a lot of the books in your giveaways, so there are some I haven’t entered. It’s so sweet and fun of you to do these Christmas giveaways. I enjoy seeing your posts!
Thank you so much Winnie! That means a lot to me. 🙂
I read books I enjoy and don’t waste time on the ones I don’t.
Thanks for sharing Connie. 🙂
I guess that I try to read as many Christmas books as I can in December. I do set a Goodreads goal but it stays about the same every year. I ALWAYS read at least a few minutes in bed before I try going to sleep. (usually more than a few minutes!)
Thanks for sharing Joan. 🙂
I never pick a book or sign up to review a book unless I know I’ll enjoy it. I rarely give anything below 4 stars.

I set a Goodreads goals but other than that I can’t think of any.

As soon as I finish reading a book, I have to log it on Goodreads (no matter how late I stayed up reading it.)
I love logging my finished reads into Goodreads! Thanks for sharing Dianna. 🙂
