Okay I admit it. My to-be-read pile has grown beyond the amount of books that I will actually read. But there are soooo many good stories out there right? One part of me wants to stop adding books to the pile until I catch up and the other part of me just gets distracted by the new stories that come out regularly. Do you have trouble controlling your TBR pile?

I’ve read a lot of great mysteries this year, some of them have been cozies and I’ve even re-read a couple of my old yellow hardcover Nancy Drews. If you enjoy historicals and mysteries and British fiction I would definitely recommend The Cairo Brief by Fiona Veitch Smith, it’s book 4 but is by far my favorite in the series.
Thanks for sharing Jasmine. 🙂

I read suspense more than mystery. The Traitor’s Pawn by Lisa Harris came to mind. I enjoy all her books. Amy Lillard has a cozy mystery series out. The latest, A Murder Between the Pages comes out soon and I’m looking forward to reading it.
Thanks for sharing Gail. 🙂

I think the closest I came to a mystery this year was Seconds to Live by Susan Sleeman, but it is categorized as mystery and suspense romance.
I’ll accept that Roxanne. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
