12 Days of Christmas Giveaways – Day 10
The Rules: Each day will have its own giveaway that will run for 7 days. You can enter all of the giveaways or just the ones that strike your fancy. Many of the giveaways will only be open to US residents (shipping costs you know 🙁 sorry), but I will have a few open internationally.
Every day will have a special word that you will need to put together the special quote for the Day 12 giveaway. That quote and entry in one of the other 11 giveaways will be required to enter the Day 12 giveaway.
Today’s special word is: truly
On Day 9’s giveaway we talked about gifts that we give to others. Now I am going to let us be selfish and talk about ourselves.
Because I tend to be more focused on giving gifts than getting them, not many gifts that I receive stand out to me. I can easily remember the looks on peoples faces when they give me gifts, but the actual gift isn’t usually as important. So I had to think about this for a little bit. Rather than tell you about a physical gift that I received, I want to tell you about the more important gift that came with them – the stories. I love hearing the stories about how a gift ended up in my lap. Was there some drama at the store where it was purchased? Did the person giving it have to do a lot of searching to find it? I love those stories.
Today’s giveaway is open internationally and is for the historical fiction book, Mail Order Mommy by Christine Johnson.

To enter the giveaway, just fill out the Rafflecopter form below. Open to readers internationally. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited by law. The winner will be notified via email and will have one week to respond back to me with their info. Good Luck and Thank You for stopping by!
The comment requirement for this giveaway is: What is the best gift that you received for the holidays?
I am like you, more focused on giving rather than receiving. I do remember a beautiful heart necklace that my now husband gave me the Christmas before we got married!
How sweet Patty! 🙂
The best gift is having all of my family together.
I agree with that Mom Is Reading. 🙂
I had an early Christmas present just yesterday. I found my two cousins that we lost touch with for many years! (40-50+ years)
Oh, that is wonderful Sally! Thanks so much for sharing that with us. 🙂
My husband surprised me with a camera to start a photography business!
Awww Heidi… You have a great husband. 🙂
I can’t really think of the best gift I’ve gotten. But since we have an almost 3yr old grand-girl, I think the greatest gift I can think of is watching the wonder of Christmas through her eyes 🙂
No doubt about that Trixi. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
