When my mom was alive, she would make me Walnut Butter cookies that taste similar to shortbread cookies. She would make an entire tin of them at Christmas time, just for me. 🙂 Yum. I would stretch them out for as long as I could.

Today’s giveaway is open internationally and is for the contemporary fiction book, The Pastor’s Christmas Courtship by Glynna Kaye.

  1. I crave pumpkin bars, pie, cookies or bread. Today I baked Pumpkin pie bars to take to our Adult dinner at our church tonight.

  2. Can’t beat a good batch of home made fudge! I am not a fudge maker but I have a friend who almost always brings me some that she makes.
As for something I bake myself, I have a wonderful Pumpkin Bread recipe that I bake all through the fall and into the holiday season. The recipe has never failed me yet=)

    1. They both sound good Patty. I remember making fudge once for a instructional speech in middle school. My best friend’s mom showed me how to do it. 🙂

  3. My favorite holiday dessert is eggnog. I consider it a dessert since it is so rich and I only allow myself one or two glasses around the holiday. One serving might be as an eggnog latte at Starbucks. 🙂
