12 Days of Christmas Giveaways – Day 6

The Rules: Each day will have its own giveaway that will run for 7 days. You can enter all of the giveaways or just the ones that strike your fancy. Many of the giveaways will only be open to US residents (shipping costs you know 🙁 sorry), but I will have a few open internationally.

Every day will have a special word that you will need to put together the special quote for the Day 12 giveaway. That quote and entry in one of the other 11 giveaways will be required to enter the Day 12 giveaway.

Today’s special word is: display,

Tradition. When I hear that word, I think of the Fiddler on the Roof song about tradition. Great. Now that song is stuck in my head. 😉

I love having traditions and I will use every opportunity I have to make some. Holidays are perfect for that. We have lots of traditions for the holidays, but probably my two favorite ones are when we decorate the Christmas tree as a family and when we spend Christmas Eve reading “Twas the Night Before Christmas” and the Bible account of Jesus’ birth in Luke.

Today’s giveaway is for one of three Amish novellas, An Amish Garden, An Amish Cradle, or An Amish Second Christmas. There will be three winners for this giveaway.

  1. Simply decorating the tree and reading the Bible passages about Christs birth are wonderful traditions! Thank You for the giveaway!

  2. We love going t our church’s christmas eve candlelight service. We also have each child read part of the christmas story before we open presents on christmas day.

  3. Our family all gathers on Christmas Eve and acts out the Nativity as Grandpa reads the story from the Bible.

  4. Going to church first thing in the morning. I LOVE this because it makes the real spirit of Christmas come alive.

  5. Attending Christmas Eve service and then eating goodies, playing games, and singing Christmas carols.
