Today’s book giveaway is for inspirational historical fiction book, A Conspiracy of Ravens by Gilbert Morris.Β  You can check out my review for this book here (A Conspiracy of Ravens book review).

Where can I learn more about this author and their books?

Gilbert Morris, Goodreads page

One of the things that I liked about this book (as well as the series that it is a part of) is Lady Serafina’s scientific mind and how she tries to reconcile her science with Dylan’s faith. I really find that appealing because logic and order are a big part of our makeup as humans and they are important to God. Faith is not for the weak minded.

I find God’s complexity, particularly with regard to science, to be fascinating.

  1. God’s endless creativity fascinates me. My daughter was telling me this morning about how incredible a poppy seed looks under a microscope. A little itty bitty poppy seed that has such incredible detail. There are endless examples of God’s creativity everywhere we look.

  2. That we are all given an equal playing field–when Peter in Acts says, “God is no respecter of persons…” God shows no favoritism, all promises are open to each and every one of us.

  3. That He answers prayer in unexpected and unique ways! And He’s faithful in keeping promises made to us πŸ™‚ I know that’s two, but for me right now, those go hand-in-hand!

Thanks for the giveaway for a new-to-me author! I see this is part of a three book series, definitely am checking these out on Amazon to learn more.

    1. I’ve reviewed all three in this series, but the copies of 1 and 2 were not in good enough condition to be in a giveaway. πŸ™ I am so glad that I could introduce you to a new author Trixi. πŸ™‚

  4. His sovereignty. There is nothing he does not control. Nothing. Everything works together for the Believer’s good. God is still on the throne and in control of all things no matter how ‘out of control’ life may seem.

  5. I’m fascinated by His love. I recently read The Divine Romance by Gene Edwards. The first sentence is He was alone. I will never know the depths of His love.
