Todayβs book giveaway is for the inspirational Amish fiction bookΒ A Dream of MiraclesΒ by Ruth Reid.
Synopsis from the back of the book:
Mattie Diener can barely keep it together. A young Amish widow and mother of two young children, she faces the lingering heartbreak of lost love, her son’s mysterious illness, and a torrent of accusations that threaten to undo her.
Bo Lambright is a fast-rising social services investigator whose high-society mother won’t rest until she finds his Mrs. Right. Despite Bo’s worldly success, the raw ache of a shadowy past and a series of unsettling dreams have left him reeling.
When Mattie and Bo cross paths, all signs point to disaster. Yet as they face a crucible of trials and tragedies together, longings begin to stir that seem destined only to end in more heartbreak. Is a miracle possible — not only of healing but of forbidden love? What secrets lie in Bo’s dreams? And will Mattie find the courage to face her uncertain future… or will she simply run away?

A Dream of Miracles sounds like a book that shows us that no matter how hard it gets we can get through it – that there is a light at the end of the tunnel BUT that you have to travel down the tunnel to get to it. I’d love to read it. I always enjoy reading Amish books immensely. Thanks for the chance to win a copy!
You’re welcome Kay and thanks for commenting. π

Yes I have. When I was pregnant with both of my children, I had a different dream for each of basically what gender and some of their personalities. God spoke to me directly in this fashion. And it all came true. In fact I had an advantage so I could help guide them in bringing those specific personalities to the best light. They both learned that they can work on themselves and rather enjoyed making themselves the best person they could. God truly blessed our little family
That is so neat Lori! I love how God blessed you like that. Thanks for sharing it with us. π
Your book sounds fabulous! I can’t say that I’ve ever had a dream that answered a life question. Thank you for the giveaway opportunity.

I think most of my dreams give me peace no matter what the answer is.
That is awesome Merry. π
I don’t recall a time when a dream has given me direction, but I remember a time when my dad did. His car was rear-ended and he couldn’t get his trunk open, although he tried numerous things. That night he dreamed how to open it, and when he awoke the next morning and tried it, it opened immediately!
What a neat story that is Evangeline. Thanks for sharing. π
I can’t say that I have. I don’t remember my dreams.

“A Dream of Miracles” sounds like an inspiring read. I can’t say that a dream has ever influenced my life. I know everyone dreams, but I rarely remember my dreams.
Thanks for commenting Dianne. π
I don’t often remember my dreams after I wake up. So I’m not sure if I’ve ever had one answer a question or solve a problem I’m having.
Ruth Reid is a new-to-me author but I love Amish fiction and this one sounds good. Thank you for the chance to win a copy Loraine!
