When Office Carly Edwards finds three young gangbangers shot execution style, she and her husband, Sergeant Nick Anderson, head of the gang unit, fear Las Playas may be on the verge of a gang war. 1. Our Bible Study Class does several things as a group. Once a month we take food to Hospice for family members. Once every two months we fill sack lunches for the “soup kitchen”. And other ministries as needed.
Right now I’m caregiver for my elderly mother. He had to move her in with us a few months ago because of her health and safety.

  2. I am a kindergarten teacher so I minister to little children a lot and I love it! I also try to help my friends any way that I possibly can!

  3. Right now in my life it is doing childcare for a couple of programs and taking cardboc my grandson.

  4. I love suspense fiction novels. My ministry is by serving helping with children in VBS, mentoring a little boy weekly in school, assisting with a monthly visit to a nursing home providing music, singing and a good message. I assist in mentoring young moms too at our church.

  5. I help out in the nursery at church so moms can hopefully have an uninterrupted time at church
I make cards for our caring ministry for those who need a lift: get well, encouragement, new baby

    1. I remember when I needed the nursery ministry Lori. It was such a blessing to me. Thanks for sharing. πŸ™‚

  6. I make teddy bears to give kids at Emergency room at local hospital

  7. I serve as treasurer in our local church. I feel it is a ministry because of my financial background and the need to manage funds wisely in a time of “on again, off again” giving. I also serve as vice chairman of our church board and work closely with our pastor in administrating the business of the church.

    1. That is such a great ministry Edward. It is awesome that you can use your talents to do those things for your church. Thanks for sharing. πŸ™‚

  8. I am the secretary at my church and sometimes just being willing to listen when someone needs to talk is the best way that I can minister to them.

  9. I minister to others by being there in their time of need to help support them.

  10. I take turns leading the Weds Morning Ladies Bible Study. I sew and craft for hospice and our Church country store ( proceeds to charity). Also once a month we put on a lunch for the visually impaired. My husband is a retired pastor but preaches occasionally. I listen to and help edit his sermons!

  11. I serve in various ministries at church. Sound and Lighting. Running sound and helping to lead breakout groups for the student Ministry.

  12. I minister to others by volunteering weekly at the local food bank.

  13. I’m a widow and invite other single women to my home. Especially younger ones.

    1. Wow Joan, that is really cool. One of Janice Cantore’s books had a widow take in a single girl in the story line and I thought it was really neat. Thanks for sharing. πŸ™‚

  14. Our small group from church does community work days. We paint playground structures, clean parks, etc.
