I’m working on a dream of publishing a Bible study!
What a neat dream Susan! I hope that comes true for you.
In Junior High I worked in the library at school when I broke my leg and couldn’t go to PE class. I developed a love for reading and decided I wanted to be a librarian. In the Army I was a tape librarian for a while be a but that wasn’t the same. I finally started a library at my church to have a place for all the inspirational books that I had read but couldn’t get rid of in case I wanted to read them again. So, I became the church librarian.
Oh, I just love that! I worked at our public library when I was a teenager. It was one of my best jobs!
LOVE THIS SERIES . . . LOVE ANYTHING KAREN KINGSBURY WRITES!!
Hi Loraine! Let’s see, a dream I have followed or want to follow… I’d love to work with student programs or with nonprofits geared toward students/student involvement. I’ve worked with students in various capacities since my sophomore year of college, but I haven’t yet found a permanent position or opportunity to do that yet.
Hi Sarah – welcome back! I hope that you do find that opportunity. Is that college student programs?
I love working with older kids. I’ve worked with high schoolers during the past couple summers, and during the school years I’ve been working with college students. Both ages are wonderful – they have so many ideas and motivations!
Now, I’d really like to keep working with college students, whether with student programs or just at a university in some capacity.
I have two college age children and I do love the way that they approach life. I will pray for you to be able to continue that dream Sarah.
And I can’t wait to see what Roma Downey does with the Baxter series in the television adaptation! I grew up reading those books, and it’ll be fascinating to watch them develop into a TV series.
I know! The combination of Roma Downey and Karen Kingsbury sounds like a recipe for a great TV series.
Have you seen The Bridge? The second part is coming to Hallmark channel sometime in March I think.
Also, Denise Hunter’s The Convenient Groom is going to be adapted into a Hallmark movie, too!
I did watch The Bridge, which I loved, but I was so disappointed that it was left unfinished. At that time, the rumor was that it would be another YEAR until the second part was released. I am really glad that they decided to release it sooner.
I did hear about Denise’s book being adapted. I missed her announcement on which book it was so I’m glad you mentioned it. I am really looking forward to seeing that one come to life on screen too!
I am a Karen Kingsbury fan. Thanks so much for the giveaway opportunity
I love making mini albums and would like to one day turn my hobby into profit.
Neat Anne! I think it’s great when someone can turn a hobby that they like into a business.
Hi! I’ve followed my dream to be a designer, and that’s what I do professionally! =) Thanks for a great giveaway. I’m looking forward to this TV series!
That is so awesome Annie! To be able to see your dream become a reality is so cool.
I had the dream of completing my MLS degree even though I was told I would never go to college due to a learing disability. I worked extreamly hard and completed my degree December 2014. 🙂
Bravo Sydney! I really admire you for that.
One dream I have followed has been to work with little ones. I was a teacher for over 20 years at our church with the babies until age 2. I have also worked at a couple of daycares and enjoyed teaching and spoiling babies and toddlers.
What a great dream Donna!
I had dreams but never got to fulfill them, due to being in an abusive marriage for many years. I am blessed with a wonderful husband now. Thank you for the chance.
Well, Lucy, I am praying that you will see some dreams fulfilled. Thanks so much for sharing with us.
Love these books!
Hard question… My dreams have changed over the years – when I was young-my dream was to be a teacher – but as I was nearing the end of college, that dream changed. I married the LOVE of my life and became a mom. I stayed home for 8 years, raising our kids and then my dream grew to my love of books – and began working in a library – LOVE for anyone who is an avid reader!! I am Blessed beyond all measures my dream is for my kids-to know & Love God, and follow their dreams! I am a happy lady!
Isn’t it such a neat things that our dreams can change and evolve with us, Wenona? I have experienced my dreams changing over the years as well.
As a child being raised in a military family I wanted to join the military myself. When I was unable to join, I longed to become a military spouse. My dream was fulfilled in 1981.
That is so awesome Kathy! I am married to a retired military man. He is my hero.
One dream my husband & I have is to buy a 5th wheel/truck combo to live in and travel all over the US, we have many family members scattered and it would be great to visit 🙂 We’d love to see more of the States, there is so much to do 🙂
Thank you for the chance to win this great series by Karen Kingsbury!
That sounds like such fun Trixi! Thanks for sharing that.
