One of my favorite Bible stories is when Josephβs brothers come to Egypt for food and Joseph finally reveals to them who he is. Another story I love to read about is the woman who touched the hem of Jesusβ garment.

One of my favorites is the story of Esther and how she prepared herself before entering the presence of the king. Shouldn’t we prepare ourselves in a similar way before we enter the presence of our King? One of my prayers is to honor my King and to make any preparations that would please Him.
I like that comparison Jan. Thanks for commenting. π
I think one of my favorite ones is Ruth & Naomi because of the sacrifice Ruth did & the love story with Boaz. It’s just a beautiful story!
Thank you for the chance to win a copy of “Bathsheba”! I have not read anything by Angela but have seen her many books around. She sounds like a good writer.
