Giveaway at Loraine Nunley's website: Claim by Lisa T. Bergren #BookGiveaway

Today’s book giveaway is for the inspirational historical fiction book ClaimΒ by Lisa T. Bergren.

Synopsis from the back of the book:

Sent West by their father to make a new life, the St. Clair siblings have done so — but hardly as he’d imagined. Moira, beautiful but severely burned, remains in Colorado, trying to pull together the pieces of her life… as well as fight for a chance at love. Odessa and her husband, Bryce, are rebuilding their ranch and negotiating new challenges. And Nic, the prodigal son, is slowly making his way home — dead broke and haunted by unmet promises.

Nic knows that before he can face his sisters, he must come to terms with the past as well as the present, but peace eludes him. Only as he mines an old claim deep in the Rocky Mountains and becomes intrigued by a local schoolteacher does he begin to understand how passionately God loves him and how long his God has pursued him. But even as he nears his goal, Nic discovers there is one last battle to fight…

  1. I do. Many different categories. Self Help – Biblical – Cooking – Quilting – Sewing – Woodworking – Inspirational novels – etc

  2. I put my books together by author mostly. Some are just lying on my dresser waiting to be read and/or put on the bookshelf. Thanks for the giveaway and good luck everyone.

  3. I have always meant to organize my books, but haven’t yet.

  4. Mine are haphazard. I do keep a stack by my chair in order I receive them to read and review.

  5. Usually by author but at times it appears to have no system when they get put in and out for reading and loaning.

  6. I don’t organize my books. I have them in stacks in the order I think I want to read them, however that’s subject to change.

  7. I buy very few print books for myself. Since I’m our church librarian, buy mostly for our church. And yes, they are organized! πŸ™‚

  8. I’ve tried to organize them by genre, but then I get more books and just put them where there’s room, and the whole system goes out the window. I do try and keep books by the same author together, but even that usually only lasts for a short time.

  9. I try to organize by authors. I also have two loose leaf notebooks organized by author. They are authors I am interested in and each page has a list of their books by publication date and series. I did this ny hand. I mark which ones I own and if I have read them. I also just started getting free ebooks on Amazon so those are automatically sorted.

  10. The only way that I organize my books is if they are in a series I will sort them my numerical order. I also like to keep all books by one author together. Lisa Bergren is one of my favorite authors and this is an amazing story in series. I would love to own it! Thanks for sharing!

  11. I used to before we moved. I haven’t had time yet. When I do it’s hardbacks and paperbacks separate and then Authors Last Names

  12. My books are in tubs by genre. Thank you for the chance! πŸ™‚

  13. I do organize my books but the process isn’t fully fleshed out yet. Not having storage in my current home I have been entering the books into a program called Book Collector and marking the location of where the books are stored. I have then been putting the books into cartons by genre.

I don’t particularly love this software. If anyone has a software program that they love I would love to hear what it is!!!

    1. I’d love to hear about book organizing software too Zoe. I have all of my fiction books listed in an excel spreadsheet. Not the most efficient, but it does the job. I also just put an app on my phone so that I can have a list of my books with me because I have been known to get duplicates. πŸ˜‰

  14. I used to organize my books by Author then series if they had more than one but, I got rid of pretty much my whole book collection to make room for someone to move in. I which I had not seen as I ended up kicking them out (for a really, really good reason). I have been trying to build my book collection back up with giveaways πŸ™

    1. That is too bad Michelle (about having to get rid of your books). I have managed to build quite a collection of books from giveaways so it can be done. πŸ™‚

  15. I put books by the same author together but other than, not so much.
