Giveaway at Loraine Nunley's website: Crazy Little Thing Called Love by Beth K. Vogt #BookGiveaway

Today’s book giveaway is for the inspirational contemporary romance bookΒ Crazy Little Thing Called LoveΒ by Beth K. Vogt.

Synopsis from the back of the book:

Vanessa Hollister is newly engaged and planning an elegant Florida destination wedding. Now if she can only dodge the memories of her first “What was I thinking?” marriage to Logan Hollister.

Logan and Vanessa met during their senior year of high school when she moved to Florida because her father was stationed at the local military base. Having the same last name threw Vanessa and Logan together, and Logan’s friendship helped Vanessa get past being the new girl in school — again. Within months, the two eighteen-year-olds had eloped, a crazy, impulsive decision spurred on by Vanessa’s heartbreak at the looming possibility of moving one more time. They truly believed they could make their teenage marriage work, but in less than two years, they divorced because of competing dreams and unresolved expectations.

Eight years later, Vanessa is stunned to meet Logan on their favorite stretch of beach in Destin, Florida. Whena hurricane hits the Gulf Coast, she and Logan see safety at the same hurricane shelter and end up battling unexpected renewed feelings for each other. Now they have to answer the question: Was their impetuous adolescent marriage a mistake? Or are they wrong not to seize a second chance at a life together?

  1. Inhave never been to a destination wedding. The book sounds really good! Thank you for the giveaway opportunity.

    1. You’re welcome Perrianne. I’ve never been to a destination wedding either. I think it might be a fun thing to attend though. πŸ™‚

  2. No I haven’t but I know of someone who did we weren’t close enough to them to go
A tropical island somewhere is where I would like to attend one

  3. My sister had her wedding at a waterfall about an hour away from home. That’s about as far away from the brides home as I have attended.

    1. Oooo those both sound like great places to attend a destination wedding Shelia. I haven’t been to either of those places. πŸ™‚

  4. I’ve never been to a destination wedding, but if I could afford to go to one, I’d want to attend a wedding in New Zealand.

  5. I have never attended a destination wedding. I think anywhere the people who are in love are is a great destination. πŸ™‚

  6. I have not ever attended a very distant wedding. Our son & his wife were married in Sedona, Arizona and that was 2-3 hours from where we lived. I guess that would count though.

    1. Sure that would count Sally. I’ll bet that was beautiful. I’ve never been to Sedona, but I’ve seen some amazing pictures of it. πŸ™‚

  7. No, I have never been to a destination wedding. Would love to attend one on a beach.

  8. I haven’t been to a destination wedding. My son just got married up a canyon about 2 hours away from us. I would enjoy going to Scotland or Switzerland for a wedding, however, I think it’s a big expense for the guests to have to travel far and pay for lodging, etc.

  9. I’ve never been to a destination wedding before. I think a fall wedding in the New England states with all the glorious fall foliage would be amazing and would be a place I would travel to for a wedding.

    1. Oh I love that Kay. My husband and I were married in late October in Michigan (we just celebrated out 15th anniversary this week!) and the fall colors made it absolutely beautiful. πŸ™‚

  10. I have never been to a destination wedding. I think Hawaii would make for a great destination wedding.

    1. Wouldn’t that be great to be able to attend a destination wedding and check a location off the bucket list at the same time? Thanks for sharing Michelle. πŸ™‚
