Todayβs book giveaway is for the inspirational historical fiction bookΒ Dark Road HomeΒ by Elizabeth Ludwig.
Synopsis from the back of the book:
Ana Kavanagh’s memories of Ireland are mostly of fire and pain. As a girl she survived a blaze that left her an orphan, left her scarred, and left her angry at God. Now in New York, Ana finds a kindred spirit in Eoghan Hamilton, who’s struggling with his own anger. His twin sister, Cara, betrayed him by falling in love with his enemy.
Cast aside by everyone, Eoghan hopes to rejoin the Fenians, an organization pushing for change back in Ireland, by securing information against Rourke, the man his sister married. Ana, Cara’s friend, may be his best source, and despite the attraction he feels, Eoghan determines to use the girl’s sweet nature to his advantage.
Adding to the danger is a specter from Eoghan’s own past, one whose thirst for vengeance knows no bounds. Eoghan must choose which road to follow — bitterness or forgiveness — and where to finally place his trust.

Β
I like them but only if they match up with what the book is about and the characters
π
I like book trailers as they give a little snippet of what the book is about and can pique one’s interest. Thank you for sharing.
π You’re welcome Anne.
I like book trailers. They help me decide whether or not I wish to read a book.
π
Book trailers are fun but not necessary.
π
Book trailers are OK, but not the deciding factor in whether I want to read the book or not.
π
I like book trailers (I enjoy movie trailers, too). Every once in awhile, the trailer doesnβt match up with the storyline but that hasnβt happened too often for me.
π
Book trailers are ok, but not necessary for me to decide on a book. Thank you for the giveaway opportunity.
π You’re welcome Perrianne.
I like book trailers. Sometimes they help me picture the characters better.
π
They can be fun & interesting, but won’t change my opinion to read a book.
π
Not necessary, but they can be enjoyable.
π
I enjoy book trailers. Have a blessed evening.
π You too Lucy!
I enjoy them if they’re well done , but I usuallythey don’t usually influence my decision to read a book.
π
I don’t really look at book trailers. I just read the synopsis on the back to decide if I would like to read a book. I’m kind of confused about the point of a video to promote a book, but that’s just my feeling.
Thanks for commenting Connie. π
I like book trailers and am impressed by them, but I like book summaries just as well!
π
I’ve watched a few book trailers and I think they are pretty fun! Set to music is even better π
π
I donβt watch book trailers. I rarely watch movie trailers.
π
I can take them or leave them. I do not base which book I want to read based on a trailer.
π
I haven’t watched a book trailer.
They are definitely not as prevalent as movie trailers Caryl. π
Iβve seen some nice ones but they donβt factor in to the decision to read a book.
