Giveaway at Loraine Nunley's website: Defenders of Hope series by Amy Wallace #BookGiveaway

This week’s book giveaway is for the inspirational romantic suspense series Defenders of Hope by Amy Wallace.

Ransomed Dreams synopsis:

When tragedy struck and Gracie Lang lost everything, her faith crumbled, and nothing but the drive for justice propelled her forward. But after two years of dead-end searching, the truth Gracie seeks is the very thing her stalker will stop at nothing to hide.

An FBI agent in the Crimes Against Children Unit, Steven Kessler spends his days rescuing other people’s children and nights caring for his son. He’s through with God, embittered by his ex-wife who abandoned them both, and definitely doesn’t expect what’s coming next.

A plot to kidnap a British ambassador’s daughter dangerously intersects Steven and Gracie’s worlds–a collision that demands a decision. But are they willing to pay the high ransom required to redeem dreams and reignite hope?

Healing Promises synopsis:

When FBI Agent Clint Rollins takes a bullet during a standoff, it might just save his life. But not even the ugly things he’s seen during his years working in the Crimes Against Children Unit could prepare him for the overwhelming powerlessness of hospital tests revealing an unexpected diagnosis. If only Sara weren’t retreating into doctor mode…he needs his wife now more than ever.

Sara Rollins is an oncologist with a mission–beating cancer when she can, easing her patients’ suffering at the very least. Now the life of her tall Texan husband is at stake. She never let the odds steal her hope before, but in this case, the question of God’s healing promises is personal. Can she hold on to the truth she claimed to believe?

As Clint continues to track down a serial kidnapper despite his illness, former investigations haunt his nightmares, pushing him beyond solving the case into risking his life and career. Clint struggles to believe God is still the God of miracles. Especially when he needs not one, but two. Everything in his life is reduced to one all-important question: Can God be trusted?

Enduring Justice synopsis:

Hanna Kessler’s childhood secret has remained buried for over two decades. But when the dark shadows of her past threaten to destroy those she loves, Hanna must face the summer that changed her life and the man who still haunts her memories.

As a Crimes Against Children FBI Agent, Michael Parker knows what it means to get knocked down. Difficult cases and broken relationships have plagued his entire year. But when the system fails and a white supremacist is set free, Michael’s drive for retribution eclipses all else.

A racist’s well-planned assault forces Hanna and Michael to decide between executing vengeance and pursuing justice. The dividing line between the two is the choice to heal. But when the attack turns personal, is justice enough?

  1. What a hard question! Over the years my body has been battered and bruised, diseased, scared from numerous surgeries but still serving the purpose God created me for.
I guess my best feature would have to be my hair….although curly and wavy (I have to flat iron it) it is very thick and I leave it the natural color.

  2. At this point in life when time and health issues have taken their toll, I think my best physical feature is my nails. I never had nails that could be manicured or had polish on them until I was a senior citizen. But now they are strong and I try to keep them looking nice. I’d rather think my best feature (although not physical) is my willingness to help or do my part in whatever is going on. That could be baking for a sell to help others, helping a friend with a task, or helping in the garden. It’s nice to be needed and to be able to help. 🙂

  3. What a tough question! (Especially as I get older.) I would probably say my eyes.

  4. I’ve never really thought about what I consider my best physical feature. I’d say my nose. It’s about the right size and serves it’s purpose well. The rest of my body is falling apart!

  5. I don’t feel I have a good physical feature, but maybe my hair. Hard to answer.

    1. It is a tough question isn’t it Lucy? So many people do not find contentment in their physical appearance, but it is part of the package that God gave us right? I’ll bet others looking at you would be able to give a whole list of good physical features. 🙂

  6. that is a tough question. I would have to say my eyes. They are big and bright. I am told they show my feelings etc. I pray that they show how i care for others and that they are always in my prayers.

  7. That’s a tough question, because I am very critical of myself. I guess I would have to say my eyes.

  8. Hmmm. My best physical feature. I think my hair is pretty great. I also think I have nice eyes.

  9. I have always been told that I have big blue eyes that pierce the darkness .

  10. After having children and getting older the one feature that hasn’t changed is my eyes. I would say my eyes are my best feature. This book sounds very good .
