This book giveaway is for the inspirational historical romance Duchess by Susan May Warren.

What is this book about?

The golden age of Hollywood is in the business of creating stars. Rosie Worth, now starlet Roxy Price, has found everything she’s wanted in the glamour of the silver screen. With adoring fans and a studio-mogul husband, she’s finally silenced the voices—and grief—of the past. Her future shines bright…until the fated Black Friday when it all comes crashing down. When Roxy loses everything, she finds herself disgraced and penniless. Her only hope is to join forces with Belgian duke Rolfe Van Horne, a longtime film investor. But Rolfe is not who he seems, and he has other plans for Roxy and her movies—plans to support a growing unrest in Europe, plans that could break her heart and endanger her life.

When her country needs her, will she have the courage to surrender her glittering world and her one true love?

  1. That’s a really tough question with as many books as I read. It would be hard living in any book before the 1900s. I would say any book covering the 1950s and beyond. Can’t think of a specific one at the moment.

  2. That is a hard question! I really enjoy Marie Bostwick’s books and think I could live in them!

  3. Like the others have said, this is a really hard question to answer. Many of the books I enjoy are during very stressful and dangerous times in history so I don’t know that I would want to live then. Even though it was very hard, I think I could probably do okay living in the Little House on the Prairie 🙂

  4. This is a hard question. But, I think the ones I have read set in Montana or Savannah, GA

  5. I have never considered such a question, and I honestly cannot think of any specific book. Most likely a book that takes place in a small town with some modern conveniences such as plumbing , running water, and electricity. Now if only I could remember a book with such a setting…

  6. Deep Haven series and Deep Haven Collection by Susan May Warren and other talented authors.

  7. Intriguing question, Loraine! I could live in Colleen Coble’s Rock Harbor series.

  8. Interesting question…since I love suspense, I don’t think I can live in it LOL

  9. Any book that takes time in the 1950’s that has a happy home life.

  10. That is a hard one but I would have to say any Amish book I have read because I would love to visit an Amish place where that have different places to eat and shop at the Amish stores!

  11. I’ve been reading a lot of suspense! I don’t want that kind of life. I’ll say Christmas Bride. I’d like to live in Montana!

  12. I think it would be fascinating to live in Narnia….particularly the settings in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe!!
