Giveaway at Loraine Nunley's website: Here To Stay by Melissa Tagg #BookGiveaway

This week’s book giveaway is for Here To Stay by Melissa Tagg.  You can check out my review for this book here (Here To Stay book review).

Where can I learn more about this author and their books?

Melissa Tagg, author website

Something that I loved about the characters in this book (and you can read about it on my review here), was that both the hero and heroine are battling family issues for many years but rather than let those circumstances make them bitter, they were funny and compassionate. How many times do we allow our circumstances to bring us down? I love that there are books out there that remind us to see the good in our lives, don’t you?

  1. Probably matter of fact! I like humorous but not to the point of being dumb! I don’t enjoy comedy movies!

  2. I’d rather have a hero that is matter of fact (like Mr. Darcy). Humor is fun, but it makes me think a hero isn’t serious.

  3. Interesting question! I wouldn’t want them to be totally dry and matter of fact, you need a bit of humor thrown in,

  4. I like guys with a sense of humor, so I like the heros of my stories to be funny, as long as he knows when to be serious too.

  5. I think a sense of humor is essential. However, often the situation calls for a matter of fact approach. It’s very annoying when someone acts the comedian, when that response is obviously out of place.

  6. I do like a matter of fact hero but if they have a sense of humor at times that would be wonderful too. I guess I like a little of the best of both!

  7. I like humor and I think it can be used in a variety of ways, so I love when an author injects humor in their characters! But I do like a balance between the two as well.

  8. Hard question. I like both, as that’s how my hubby is, a good mixture. Thank you for the chance.

  9. That’s a tough call! I suppose that I’d rather have someone who’s humorous. Having a sense of humor doesn’t equal dishonesty. Someone can still be honest and fun at the same time.

  10. I would rather a hero be a down to earth guy in other words, “matter of fact”.

  11. I love when a novel makes me laugh out loud, but I think I’d rather laugh at a situation than at a person, so I vote for matter of fact. Otherwise, I may not take him seriously.
