This week’s book giveaway will run for two weeks and is for the Hidden Justice series by Cara Putman. I am privileged to be on Cara’s street team for her legal romantic suspense books so two of the books (A second copy of Delayed Justice and Imperfect Justice) are Advanced Reader Copies (ARCs).
Cara Putman is involved in the ACFW (American Christian Fiction Writers) and I was blessed to meet her when I attended my first ACFW conference in 2017. She facilitated the introductions for first time attenders. She is one of the sweetest people I met there. It’s obvious that she has a heart for other writers and her own readers. I didn’t know I liked reading legal thrillers until I stumbled upon Cara’s books. Since romance is my go-to genre, the fact that her legal thrillers also included romance was a big incentive to give them a try. I’m so glad I did.
You can read my reviews of the books in this series HERE. If you like romantic suspense mixed with legal thrillers, these are the books to read.

I have met a few of my favorite authors. At the first CFRR my friend and I were seat mates with Becky Wade and at the second one, Cynthia Ruchti and I sat together. I had lunch with Caryl McAdoo. It’s fun to get to know them on a little more personal level. And isn’t it a privilege to be on their street/launch teams! Would love to win this prize. Thank you for the opportunity
Wow Anne, that is awesome. Becky Wade occasionally attends the local ACFW meetings and I’m embarrassed to admit that the last time she was there I completely lost my capacity to speak. It was such a fangirl moment. 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
I have met Lynette Eason several times as she spoke at our local library. I am so impressed by her, as well as her writings!
I just love Lynette’s stories Janice. I was able to sit in a few of her seminars but I couldn’t get up the nerve to actually approach her. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
I have not yet met any of my favorite writers in person, but I would love to one day.

I have not met any of my favorite writers in person. One of my favorites is going to be at a bookstore about 30 miles away, and I have contemplated going, but the timing doesn’t quite work out for me☹️
That’s too bad Patty. I hope that you will get another opportunity. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
Unfortunately, I haven’t met any of the authors whose books I love. However, I hope to rectify that in August when we got to an event in Shipshewana where there will be not one but like 25 authors whose books I love. Can’t wait! Love the town and now another reason to go back. 🙂
Oh, that sounds like so much fun Kay! I’ve never been to Shipshewana, but I’ve heard some wonderful things about it. Adding authors just makes it better. 🙂 Thanks for sharing.

Well I hope you do someday Faith. But at least we have online access to them, right? Thanks for sharing. 🙂

I have not had the privilege of meeting any of my favorite authors. I would love to have the opportunity though and consider it an unforgettable experience to be able to visit, one on one. I am an avid reader and love to hold the book as I read. I know that E-readers are great but I personally think that a book is better. I have traveled all around the world, enjoyed sights, smells, taste, and met a lot of great people through books. What fun!
It’s not just the authors that are great to meet face to face, right Madelyn? Thanks for sharing with us. 🙂
I’ve met Wanda Brunstetter! 🙂 And, Paul L Gaus! 🙂 I would love to meet many more authors!
Oh, that is so great Barb. Thanks for sharing with us. 🙂
Yes! I met a lot of them at CFRR 2017. It was such fun to chat with them and get to know them. I’m looking forward to seeing some of them again in a couple of months and meeting new ones.
I have to admit that I’m a little envious there Winnie. 😉 I have not been able to attend any of the CFRR’s. They sound like so much fun. Plus, I would love to meet Carrie Schmidt from Reading Is My SuperPower. Thanks for sharing with us.
Sadly I have not met any in person. There have been some that live or came to my state that I wanted to go meet, but it didn’t work out. Hopefully someday!

I’ve experienced that myself Perrianne. Thanks for commenting. 🙂
yes, I met Vickie Moss at a recent Writer’s conference. She wrote a very practical book on writing for magazines while you work on your novel; that is a paraphrase of her book! 🙂
How neat Diane! Thanks for commenting. 🙂
I haven’t met any of my favorite author YET. It’s definitely on my bucket list thought. And Cara is one I must met. I haven’t read a single book by her but I tuned into one of her Facebook live videos and she was such a joy and pleasure to watch. I just love her warm and inviting personality. I instantly became a huge fan. Love the way she oozes the love of Jesus!
