This week’s book giveaway is for Into the Fire by Kim Vandel. You can check out my review for this book here (Into the Fire book review).
Where can I learn more about this author and their books?
This book stood out for me in two ways: the first is that it is written in first person POV which is not my preferred reading and the second is that it is a YA book. I haven’t read many YA books since I was one myself. So I was not the ideal reader for this book, but I am a sucker for good stories so I gave it a shot.
I am really glad that I did. It was a good story (you can read my review for more detail), and now I want to pass it along for someone else to enjoy. What about you? Will you step out of your reading comfort zone in hopes of being surprised with a good story?

The book I read that surprised me was The Goden Braid. It was my first YA book and I really liked it. TY for the chance. God bless.
Hi Lucy! I haven’t read Melanie Dickerson’s books yet, but I’ve heard good things about them. 🙂
War Brides by Helen Bryan is a book I am currently reading and surprisingly enjoying. I didn’t think it was one I would like but accidentaly clicked on it for my Kindle reader.
Welcome to my website Nancy! Thanks for commenting. 🙂
The book that I liked more than I thought I would was Union Street Bakery by Mary Ellen Taylor.
