Where can I learn more about this author and their books?

Irene Hannon, author website

This author is a favorite of mine, but she is really rough on her heroines. 😉 They have to be tough cookies even when they don’t seem like it at first. I love that about romantic suspense. There is usually a good match between the tough heroine and her equally tough partner, the hero.

  1. Recently finished An Hour Unspent by Roseanna White and really liked the name Evelina who is the heroine in the book.

  2. Ohhhh, I love reading Irene Hannon’s suspense Books!
I just finished My Heart Belongs in Gettysburg Pennsylvania and Clarissa was a heroine I will not soon forget. Not only did she work the Underground Railroad but she also dressed as a male and fought for the Union. She learned to chew tobacco to help make her voice more masculine.

  3. Old Fashioned names like Emma or Linda or Elle or even Newer ones that are not made up spellings like RaeLynn and Erica

  4. I like the name Sophia or Hannah for a heroine!
Thanks for sharing about this book. I haven’t read it yet. Here’s hoping…

  5. I think it would be cool to have a common name with an odd spelling. Example, our daughter’s name was Jenet pronounced Jeannette. Since we weren’t French, figured we didn’t need all those extra letter. 🙂 Call me a southern gal, but I’ve also always love the name Tammy Jean.

  6. I love the name Ellianna with the first “a” pronounced “ah”. It’s my granddaughter’s name, and it fits her so well. Her middle name is Leah, after my mom. With a name like Ellianna Leah, I’ve always thought she should be a concert pianist or a ballerina!

This book sounds so fascinating. I love Irene Hannon’s books.

  7. I think great heroine names may change for me as I read different books. I am reading Jody Hedlund’s Searching for You and Sophie is definitely a very strong character who is most definitely not giving up the two children entrusted to her care. She goes to great lengths to try and protect them. I love that aspect of her personality and perseverance on her part.

  8. I favor the names Rachel and Cara! I love Irene’s books, too! Maybe Cookie should be a name, in honor of being a tough cookie!

  9. My suggestion for a romantic name would be Cynthia or Gabrielle. paulams49ATsbcglobalDOTnet

  10. I love the name Isabella but I must admit that I am partial because this is my 4 year old granddaughter’s name. Thanks for this giveaway.
