Where can I learn more about this author and their books?
This story featured a couple of quirky characters in the forms of Ian’s grannie and Emily’s aunt. As with many stories that have those secondary characters, I found that both women added some “spice” to Ian and Emily’s relationship. That got me to thinking about real life quirky people and how they also add spice to our lives.
One person that comes to mind was one of our next door neighbors when I was a teenager. He and my dad would stand on either side of the fence that separated our properties and talk for hours. I loved listening in on their conversations. Our neighbor was a retired advertising man and he always had so many amusing stories to tell. He definitely added spice to my life!

I have an aunt that fits that description perfectly!
She told me if I ever got married she would be there with bells on. She came with bells tried to her dress.
LOL Gail, that is quirky and sweet. 🙂
My aunt is so much fun to be around! She’s always working on some project. I love hearing about what she has going on now and what she’s done in the past. She brightens the lives of everyone around her.
I love people like that MomIsReading. We should all have people around us who brighten our lives. 🙂

So sweet Annie. 🙂 I had a friend who would keep me in stitches every time we were together because she always told the funniest stories.
My daughter is probably the person who fits the quirky person in my life. She’s always doing crazy but fun things like dressing up in an ABBA costume when her kids’ friends come over. She’s loads of fun!

What a great person to have in your life Lisa. 🙂
The person that has added the most spice to my life is probably my best friend. She always makes sure to keep life interesting, and we can be ourselves and be goofy every time we are together. She knows how to make me laugh, and she’s always positive and full of energy for the activities we do together.
That is so awesome Emily! We all need friends like that. Welcome to my website. 🙂
My sister is pretty quirky. She would probably even agree. But my evenness balances us out so it works out well. Sometimes I have to just realign things again.
That is so neat when we complement others Linda. Sounds like you and your sister are a good pair. 🙂
