Giveaway at Loraine Nunley's website: Love Unexpected by Jody Hedlund #BookGiveaway @lorainenunley

This week’s book giveaway is for the inspirational historical romance bookΒ Love UnexpectedΒ by Jody Hedlund.

What is this book about?

All Emma Chambers ever wanted was a home, but when her steamboat sinks just outside Presque Isle, she’s left destitute and with no place to stay.

An unlikely solution arises when the lighthouse keeper arrives in town. He’s just lost his wife and is having a difficult time caring for his child. So a traveling preacher gets the idea that the keeper and Emma might be the answer to each other’s dilemma. After a hasty marriage, she finds herself heading to the lighthouse with this handsome but quiet stranger. Nothing in her aimless life, though, has prepared her for parenting a rambunctious toddler, as well as managing a household.

Emma soon suspects Patrick may be hiding something from her, and then she hears a disturbing rumor about the circumstances surrounding his late wife’s death. It seems as if her wish for a home and family of her own could end up leading her once more into turbulent waters.

  1. Oh my goodness, I just read two of her books Together Forever and With You Always and fell in love with her writing and the characters.
Thank you for the give a way.
LOL I would be so terrible at anything that dealt with math, such as an accountant, etc. LOL

  2. I think I would be horrible as a teacher. It takes me a while to grasp things at times, but once I do I’m good with it. I in turn don’t seem to have the patience with teaching something to others what I have learned – other than baking. That may be because it’s my passion.

Thank you for the chance to win a copy of “Love Unexpected” by Jody Hedlund. Love this author’s books and this one sounds sure to please.

    1. You’re welcome Kay. It takes a lot of patience to teach so I do admire those who do. Thanks for commenting. πŸ™‚

  3. I think I would be terrible at working construction. Sometimes you have to be way up in the air building skyscrapers and I am afraid of heights. Thanks for the giveaway and good luck everyone.

  4. I would be terrible as a mathematician! I’m just horrible with math.

  5. I would be terrible as a nurse or Dr. I get flustered when people get hurt and would not be good at looking at all the ( blood and guts)!

  6. I would make a terrible teacher. I am okay one-on-one but I can’t do the classroom setting.

  7. I would make a terrible doctor or nurse or vet, or any medical field for that matter, as I don’t deal well when people are in terrible pain or severely injured.

    1. Oh I am horrible at fundraising Mindy. I always came in last place because I could only get my parents to donate or buy what I was selling. πŸ™‚ Thanks for commenting.

  8. I’d be a terrible salesperson, lol. I’m not very sociable and pretty shy when I’m face-to-face with people I don’t know.

  9. I’d probably be terrible at marketing or being an ad-woman–making up jingles for ads, etc. I’m good at reading though!

  10. I would be terrible at being any kind of supervisor. I don’t like being so responsible and having to tell people what to do or tell them they’re doing something wrong.

    1. I get that Connie. I would worry about hurting feelings or having someone mad at me. πŸ˜‰ Thanks for commenting.

  11. I would be terrible as a nurse, as I can’t stand blood. I’m a good caregiver but not the guts.

  12. I would be a terrible housekeeper! Cleaning is just not my thing – although I do it (not often enough) because otherwise …

  13. Sales and marketing. I don’t like trying to talk people into buying things.

  14. I would be a terrible scientist. I never liked math or the technical side of science. Only archeology or botony . I love Jody β€˜s books!

  15. Great sounding story! Would love to read this to see what secrets the lighthouse keeper has and how it affects his marriage.

  16. The thing I abhor, despise and dread doing is cooking (Yes I HATE it that much) so being a chef at a restaurant would NOT be a good job for me!… Unless I was Chef Boyardee I could probably Master Chef the check outta that stuff
