Giveaway at Loraine Nunley's website: Miriam by Mesu Andrews #BookGiveaway @lorainenunley

This week’s book giveaway is for the inspirational historical book Miriam by Mesu Andrews.

What is this book about?

At eighty-six, Miriam has devoted her entire life to loving El Shaddai and serving His people as both midwife and messenger. Yet when her brother Moses returns to Egypt from exile, he brings a disruptive message. God has a new name — Yahweh — and has declared a radical deliverance for the Israelites.

Miriam and her beloved family face an impossible choice: cling to familiar bondage or embrace uncharted freedom at an unimaginable cost. Even if the Hebrews survive the plagues set to turn the Nile to blood and unleash a maelstrom of frogs and locusts, can they weather the resulting fury of Pharaoh?

Enter an exotic land where thousands of pagan deities are worshiped, Pharaohs rule, and he Israelites cry out to a God they only think they understand.

  1. I try to let the Bible be my inspiration for day to day living. But I have others also. I have three friends that inspire me with living the way the Lord wants us to live as women. I have another friend who we inspire each other in sewing/quilting. My daughter inspires me to continue to work out so I am fit physically.

  2. My mother and my sisters always inspire me in my faith and to be the best I can be in any given situation. We have quite a support group amongst the six of us.

  3. The Lord has placed several women in my life who inspire me to be a better person.

  4. While my mom was alive, she inspired me. Now I have friends from Bible study that inspire me to be faithful in my Christian walk.

  5. My friends inspire me to be a better person as I’ve surrounded myself with giving people who always reach out to help and support.

  6. God’s word. I have many friends, my Mommy & my daughters inspire me to be better.

  7. Jesus’ life inspires me to strive to be better and more like Him. My husband, children, and grandchildren also create in me a desire to be better.

  8. Besides the Bible itself, my husband, along with many people who have been a part of my life, but have moved to Heaven–my Mom, my Dad, my best friend.
