Today’s book giveaway is for inspirational romantic suspense fiction book, Rescued Hearts by Hope Toler Dougherty.  You can check out my review for this book here (Rescued Hearts book review).

Where can I learn more about this author and their books?

Hope Toler Dougherty, author website

Romantic suspense is one of my favorite genres to read (as well as write) because the conflict is built right into the story. Will they or won’t they live to see another day? How will they deal with the feelings of attraction when life goes back to normal? So many good questions to answer as you experience the roller coaster with the characters.

One thing that I liked about this book was that there were moments of normalcy when the characters were able to occupy their time with the hobbies that they loved. It gave a balance to the relationship.

Hobbies can provide great balance to life as well.

  1. My favorite hobby is baking. I love to bake goodies and share the bounty of the oven. Nothing is better than taking something homemade while going to visit an elderly person or to someone who isn’t expecting it. 🙂

  2. Seems like reading and baking are popular here. I would say the same. In the past I have done cross stitching, but it’s been years and I just can’t find the time anymore it seems.

  3. I love sewing and baking and reading but have very little time to do any of them 🙁 Thank you for this opportunity to add another great book to my TBR stash 🙂

  4. My favorite hobby is quiltimg! I love to quilt whenever I have the opportunity. It is s much fun to make quilts for family and friends.

    1. One of my most treasured possessions is a quilt my mother made for me when I was younger. Thanks for sharing that with us Faith. 🙂

    1. LOL Joan. I think many of us have that answer. 🙂 Genealogy is so interesting to me. I wish I had more time to pursue mine.

  5. My favorite hobbies are making primitive decor for my home, sewing, crochet, cross stitch, cards, etc
Of course reading is a daily must.

  6. My favorite hobbies are stringing beaded jewelry, craft sewing such as pot holders, aprons, and fabric pumpkins for our Church Country Store for charity, and reading.

  7. My favorite hobby is reading, followed by baking. I LOVE the book cover! Thank you for the giveaway opportunity.

    1. Ooo fishing. Now that is one I haven’t seen mentioned. I don’t fish but it sounds like it could be very relaxing Jan. 🙂

  8. My favorite hobby is volunteering in the Church Library, which I have done for almost 40 years. My next favorite hobby is reading, of course.

  9. I love to read! And while I’m watching a favorite TV show or movie I crochet. I’ve made three Afghans for Christmas gifts and am working on number four.
