Synopsis from the back of the book:

Shards of Eliza Campbell’s life crash to the ground when she discovers a devastating secret: her father was a spy for the Sons of Liberty. Determined to uncover the truthβ€”at any costβ€”not even a marriage proposal from the dashing British Officer Samuel Martin can dissuade her. When rescued from British capture by handsome patriot Thomas Watson, Eliza discovers what her father risked his life for and yearns to know more. But will her budding attraction to this courageous patriot damage her already wounded heart?

After years of being blackmailed by Officer Martin, Thomas plans to start a new life in the small town of Sandwich. However, when his actions place Eliza and her sister in danger, he must act quickly to protect them from falling into enemy hands. If the three of them are discovered, their lives will never be the same. 1. No, I don’t think I could be a spy. But I love to read books about them. Looking forward to reading this one. Thanks for the give-away.

  2. No, I definitely don’t think I could be a spy. I’m sure my face and actions would give myself away!

  3. Sometimes, I pretend to be a spy…by spying on my parents with the “find my friends” app. hahaha
But that’s the closest I could ever be to truly being a spy. I do not have a poker face and am horrible at telling lies, plus I’m a klutz and drip over my own feet! I would be just HORRIBLE! πŸ™‚

Thanks for hosting such an awesome giveaway! So Fair a Lady is going on my TBR list πŸ™‚

  4. I wouldn’t be able to be a spy, because I talk too much and can’t lie at all. But it’s quite a feat when someone can be good spy! This book sounds awesome, what a lovely cover!
