Today’s book giveaway is for the inspirational Historical fiction book Sweet SanctuaryΒ by Kim Vogel Sawyer.

Synopsis from the back of the book:

Lydia Eldredge longs to provide sanctuary for her young son, Nicky. But a constant threat comes from Nicky’s drug-addicted father, who wants the boy and seems willing to do whatever it takes to get him.

Dr. Micah Hatcher faithfully serves the immigrant population of Queens, New York. But under cover of darkness, he has a secret mission that challenges everything he thought he wanted out of life.

When Lydia and Micah’s paths cross, they are suddenly wrapped up in each other’s callings. Together, they seek a refuge of safety — for Nicky, for themselves, and for the needy people God puts into their lives. Amid turmoil and discord, can hope and love prevail?

  1. I have only read one this year that I can remember and I didn’t enjoy it a lot
I’m getting to read Taste of Tiara by Shanna Hatfield, her books are always great.

  2. Never Forget by Jody Hedlund. All her books are great. She does wonderful research on her historicals. And her daughter is the cover model.

  3. I recently finished A Name Unknown by Roseanna White. It was fantastic. I’ve read several of her books and have loved them all.

  4. I recently finished The Promise of Breeze Hill by Pam Hillman. It was very good! It was my first time reading one of her books and I will try and pick up another one of hers.

  5. I just finished I Love You, Michael Collins which is set in 1969 and centers on the space race to the first man on the moon.

  6. I would highly recommend both To Win Her Favor by Tamera Alexander and Last Christmas in Paris by Hazel Gaynor and Heather Webb.

  7. the series – Ribbons West – by Judith Pella and Tracie Peterson
books – 1 Westward the Dream
    2 Separate Roads
    3 Ties that Bind
