This weekβs book giveaway is for the inspirational romantic suspense bookΒ Talon by Ronie Kendig.
What is this book about?
The US Marine Corps says he’s dead, but Aspen won’t believe it till she sees his body. Her only hope is her brother’s tracking dog, Talon, but a brutal attack has left the dog afraid of his own shadow.
The truth is something Military Intelligence Operative Dane Markowski has never faced. But now it’s the only thing–along with Talon’s help–that can save him. But working with Talon means teaming up with Aspen as well, and Dane swore he’d never work with a woman.
Eventually they join forces to battle the elements and extremists. But if Talon can’t rise up to his former glory for one last mission, the only outcome for all three will be game over.

The book sounds great. Thank you for sharing about it. Our last dogs name was Molly so I guess Iβll say that is my favorite pet name!
You’re welcome Anne. Thanks for commenting. π
Well, of course I’m going to pick my furbabies name for my favorite! π Our chihuahua furbaby will be 16 years old next month. His name is Snickerdoodle. When he came into our lives, hubby and I were clowns. We were friends with Emmett Kelly Jr. and travelled from AZ to GA and from MI to TX to clown with him. My clown name was Cook E. Lady because of my love of baking. So naturally our new furbaby had to have a cookie name.
Oh I love that Kay. And Snickerdoodles are one of my favorite cookies. π Thanks for sharing that with us.
I had two greyhounds growing up that we adopted after they retired from racing. Their names were Denny and Mitzie but they had a ton of nicknames that they’d come running to when we called them.
For some dogs it doesn’t matter what you call them as long as you’re calling them, right Abby. π Thanks for sharing that with us.
We had a couple of hermit crabs that my children named Hermie and Hermie Jr. but no favorite pet names.
I like that Mindy. Thanks for sharing with us. π
My sister had a dog named Deogie (D-O-G). He was so smart and cute, sure do miss the little guy.
That is such an unusual spelling Donna. I like it. π Thanks for sharing.
It was Cujo Von Baron The III. He was a full blooded registered white German Shepherd. I had him for about 7 years until he suddenly died with stomach cancer. An awesome dog. Thanks for the chance.
What a cool name Lynn! And he sounds like a cool dog as well. Thanks for sharing with us. π
My favorite pet name is Crusher–the name I gave to my first guinea pig as a preschooler. I never understood until much, much later why adults found it funny for a guinea pig because it made sense to me–she “crushed” her food when she chewed.
LOL I love that Danielle. It makes so much sense too. Thanks for sharing with us. π
My son has a cat named Bliss. I think that’s pretty cool.. His other cat is named M.
I think that is a pretty pet name Linda. Thanks for sharing that with us. π
Henry, which is the name of my pet hedgehog!
