Todayβs book giveaway is for the inspirational contemporary romance book, The Happy Camper by Melody Carlson.Β You can check out my review for this book here (The Happy Camper book review).
I love romance. Boy meets girl, sparks fly, conflict keeps them apart, they realize they love each other, and finally love conquers all. It may be cliche’, but I love it all the same. π I also enjoy when an author can throw something unexpected into the mix. Usually that involves children and animals, but in this case, it was a vintage camper. What a fun addition to this cast.

I think a fun inanimate object that could be added to a story is a stuffed animal like a dog, cat, bear or monkey. It would be cute and not too weird to talk to or see moving.
I love that idea Bernice. In fact, a series of books that I love is the Aunt Dimity mysteries and there is a stuffed rabbit that the main character talks to in all of the books. Thanks for sharing. π
I like stories about an item of antiquity that brings two people together. Maybe a locket, brooch or an antique chest or jewelry box. I could see lots of ways of spinning tales around those things.
Absolutely Perrianne. Thanks for sharing. π
I think a vintage automobile that is in need of restoration would be a fun part of the story and plot line.
What a great idea Danielle! Thanks for sharing. π
An old cedar chest would be interesting!

How about a fun vintage car that’s been passed down from grandpa to the son and then the grandson. Can you imagine the stories that would be told about it?
