The Seekers Book Giveaway at Loraine Nunley's website

This week’s book giveaway is for the inspirational Amish romance book The SeekersΒ by Wanda E Brunstetter.

What is this book about?

Charlene Higgins is engaged, but to the despair of her fiance’s family, she can’t cook. Kendra Perkins, a teen estranged from her family, is facing an unwanted pregnancy alone. Loretta Donnelly, widowed with two children, would like to simplify her life. Ron Hensley, a Vietnam Vet, parks his RV on the Troyer farm. And Eli Miller, an Amish widower, needs to learn how to cook for himself.

Class members share details of their disappointing lives, work to solve a mystery, and stir some romance into the pot. Suddenly cooking classes at Heidi’s house become life lessons…and their souls are healed one meal at a time.

  1. Hubby and I love to bake in the kitchen together. One of the things we love to make is our homemade cinnamon rolls. We took a recipe he was making prior to our marriage and my Mom’s tried and true recipe and came up with out own version that is a melding of the two. They are full of pecans and raisins with a gooey goodness with more pecans on the bottom and a sugary glaze on the top.

  2. I do not like to cook but I make a pretty good corn casserole for holidays and other special occasions

  3. I thoroughly enjoy baking banana bread; everyone normally asks for it as well to include neighbors and co-workers.
