Today’s book giveaway is for two inspirational contemporary fiction books: The Wishing Season and Married ’til Monday by Denise Hunter.

Abby McKinley never exactly told her parents about the divorce. A strained relationship with her dad has culminated in a distant relationship with her parents, but she’s finally succumbed to her mom’s pressure to make the drive for their 35th-anniversary party.
Then Ryan shows up on her doorstep, looking as handsome as ever. When he insists he’s going to Summer Harbor, with or without her, Abby knows she can’t say no. Her parents still think they’re married and now Ryan knows it too. It’s just a one-week road-trip with the man who broker her heart. What could possibly go wrong?

The first thing that comes to mind is Hundred Acre Wood. 🙂 I think Gotham City would be pretty cool too. Knowing that someone with super skills and unlimited resources was looking out to the underdog and defeating criminals is kind of reassuring.

I love Denise Hunter’s books! I’m so happy about this giveaway. I’ve read the first two books in this series and can’t wait to read these two remaining ones.
As for my favorite fictional town, I think I’ll go classic and say Green Gables from Anne of Green Gables.

My favorite fictional town is Hogsmeade because of the cozy architecture. i also love The Shire from Lord of the Rings (cute, cute houses and the all the flowers and gardens make me want to live there).

I am not sure how to decide! I agree with some of the locations mentioned and I also love watching Chesapeake Shores on Hallmark. I know the show is based on books by Sherryl Woods, which I have not read, but it just seems like a cozy town to live in!

I think one of my favorite fictional towns is in Irene Hannon’s contemporary series Hope Harbor. It’s based on a coastal town on the southern Oregon coast (which I live in Oregon so it was fun to read about) but of course the town name is made up. I think my favorite settings for books or movies is small towns somewhere since I live in one 🙂
