This week’s book giveaway is for the non-fiction inspirational book Thriving in Babylon by Larry Osborne (see my review here).
Where can I learn more about this author and their books?
With everything going on in the world today and things getting worse for Christians all over, it is easy to despair. How do we find hope in the midst of evil that permeates our world?
Dr. Larry Osborne explores that in his book by focusing our attention on the famous Biblical character of Daniel. Now, I knew the story of the lion’s den and know about Daniel’s prophecies, but I never stopped to think about the type of society that Daniel was forced to live in. Wow. Talk about persecution. Babylon was well known for evil. But learning about how Daniel, not only lived in Babylon, but thrived in that atmosphere, gives me hope for our world now.
