Giveaway at Loraine Nunley's website: Traces of Mercy by Michael Landon Jr. and Cindy Kelley #BookGiveaway

This week’s book giveaway is for Traces of Mercy by Michael Landon Jr. and Cindy Kelley.

Synopsis from the back of the book:

As the Civil War ends, a young woman suffers an accident that leaves her unconscious and alone. Waking up with amnesia, she takes the name Mercy because of the mercy medallion found around her neck.

More than anything, Mercy wants to find out the truth of her past, but when the town’s most eligible bachelor comes courting, she decides to look instead to the future. Life seems filled with promise until a handsome stranger comes into town, a man who knows her history… and something that could destroy her.

  1. I have my mom and dad’s wedding rings and a ring that was given to my mom by my uncle after a trip to Egypt.

  2. My wedding band. I’m a widow now and it’s too small so I no longer wear it but I really liked my band!

    1. Oh Joan – I can somewhat relate to that. Not the widow part, but my wedding band is too small for me so I wear the promise ring that my husband gave to me before we got married as my wedding ring.

  3. For my 50th birthday my husband gave me a diamond tennis bracelet. It was the best birthday ever since all 3 of my children were there (2 lived out of state) to help celebrate. At that age I still felt good and energetic! I still wear the bracelet and when I put it on I reminisce that special day.

  4. I have a black ring that used to be a mood ring until the outer plastic coating wore off. I like the shininess of the black undercoating. Not much, but I love it anyway.

  5. I have an opal butterfly necklace that my parents gave me one year for my birthday. It’s my favorite piece of jewelry.

  6. My opal necklace my husband gave me on our wedding night. All the more so, since he is home with the Lord

  7. My favorite piece of jewelry is my wedding band. I never take it off, because it reminds me of my sweet husband’s love.
