Where can I learn more about this author and their books?
Janice Cantore, author website
This book included the horrible practice of human trafficking. In the midst of one woman’s terrible experience, she found a person who went out of their way to help her out. It got me to thinking about what things we can do to help out others. It doesn’t have to be big things. I have a daughter who compliments people we come across. She goes out of her way to look for something to compliment them on. It seems like a little thing, but I have enjoyed watching her compliments bring smiles to people. It has also encouraged me to be more mindful of what I can do to help others.
Isn’t it wonderful when we are mindful of others?

I am one that likes to send cards of encouragement to those that need a boost. Sometimes I might also make a phone call or send an email.
That reminds me I need to send a sympathy card to a family at my church that is grieving.
Thanks for commenting Gail. π
I love to pray for people and listen to them if they need or want to talk.

Be a listening ear when they need it. For writers, we can leave reviews when we read their books. For children and grandchildren, be loving and accepting and available in their lives. Smiles and compliments go a long way, too.
Thanks for adding the writers in Winnie. Good reviews are a good way to lift their spirits. π
So often we tell someone we will be praying for them and go on our way, hopefully remembering to mention that person in prayer. It would be a real encouragement to them if we simply stopped right there and prayed for them in their presence. I have done this on occasion and it has meant a lot to the other person.
That is so true Edward. I have been guilty of saying it and forgetting to do it. Thanks for commenting. π
sometimes it is as simple as a phone call or hug
