  1. I love Ann’s books! One goal I have this year is to be better at dealing with home management issues — keeping the checkbook balanced, menu planning, house cleaning and maintenance. I plan to set aside a couple hours every Friday morning to do this!

  2. One of the goals I have set for 2016 is to take over the library at my ministry – it has been sorely neglected for over a year!

    1. That is a good goal as well Sharon! Keep checking back here for giveaways, maybe you will win one for your library. Good luck!

  3. Hmm…I haven’t really made any resolutions, though I have MANY goals! 🙂 But, mainly, I am trying to seek the Lord first and foremost throughout the day!

  4. I don’t do resolutions or goals for the New Year. But what I have done for this year (unintentionally) is God whispered a word for me in 2016….Faith. What it means or how it will play out for this year, I have no idea. I’m just excited to anticipate how God will show me each day 🙂 The other thing I’d love to do this year….knock my TBR pile (physical books) in at least half! I’ve acquired many books this last year & my bookshelves are bursting. I need to take more time to read, always a good goal yes?

I’ll also be sharing this on FB & twitter!

    1. Oh Trixi, I love your 2016 word! Faith. That should be exciting to discover. And getting through some of your TBR list is always a good goal. Thanks for stopping by and good luck!

  5. One of my goals for 2016 is to read the Bible through in a different version to see if there are nuggets I have missed.

    1. Awesome Stella! I love discovering new things in the Bible. Isn’t it wonderful to have such a LIVE book? Thanks for commenting.

  6. I need to lose weight so badly. It’s such a cliché, but I hate feeling so big and sluggish. I want to get healthy while my child’s still young so that I can enjoy their childhood and make good memories!

    1. Oh Karen, I can really relate to that. I will say a prayer for you right now for God to help you with that goal. Thank you so much for sharing!

  7. Ann Gabhart is a new author to me so I checked out the book reviews and found many 4 and 5 star ratings on this being a very good book. It is now on my to-be-read list and I hope to win it, or at least get if from my local library soon. Thanks for the giveaway. Good luck everyone.

  8. oops Forgot my resolution for 2016. I don’t make resolutions, but if I did it would be the usual, lose at least 50 pounds.

  9. I would probably say my goal would be to be a better listener. Everyone always asks me how I am due to my health, but I would like to see how they are etc. and listen to them. Also to read when I can.

    1. I like that goal Maryann… Can I pick that one too? I know that I am guilty of not listening enough, especially to my kids. Welcome to my website and good luck!

  10. I don’t make resolutions, but my 17 year old daughter asked me the same thing last week. I joked that my resolution is to get her ready and moved out by the end of the year. She turns 18 on Dec. 25, 2016. She then told me that my resolution should be to me nicer to her. haha And then she said she was going to live with us forever!

    1. LOL that is so funny Terrill. My son is 19 and we’ve had similar conversations! Thanks for sharing and good luck!

      1. I consider it a compliment if at 17 or 19, they still want to live with us. 🙂

  11. I don’t really set goals for the New Year, I try to strive ti live each day the way the Lord would have me to.

  12. Thanks for a chance to win a copy of Words Spoken True. I really enjoy reading Ann H. Gabhart’s books.
I don’t make new years resolutions/goals…..spending more time with the Lord, Bible study and prayer.
