Disclosures

The government (sigh)…

Here are my website disclosures…

Who I am: My website address is: https://lorainenunley.com.

Affilates: I participate in the Amazon Affiliates Program. If you click on one of the affiliate links and purchase something from Amazon, I will receive a small percentage at no extra cost to you. This small portion supports this website. Thank you.

Book Reviews: All of my book reviews are my honest opinion of said book. Many of the books are from my personal collection. Sometimes I will review a book received from an author or publisher in the hope of getting a review. If that is the case, I will note it in that review post but please know that I am never required to provide a review.
I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission 16 CFR Part 255, “Guides concerning the use of endorsements and testimonials in advertising.”

Copyright: All written and photographic content on this website is the property of Loraine Nunley unless noted otherwise in the blog post. I encourage you to share the information that I share with you here. I especially appreciate sharing on social media and have social sharing buttons available for you to do so. Please do not remove any watermarks, crop, or edit any of my images without first obtaining my written permission. If you use my photos, please see that a link is provided back to my original post. All images on this website, other than those created by Loraine Nunley, are the property of their respective owners. I have made every possible effort to give source credit where applicable. If there is an image belonging to you that appears on this website and you would like it removed, please contact me at info(AT)lorainenunley(DOT)com and I will remove it.

Privacy Policy:  The privacy of your personal information is important. I never sell your personal information to third parties. I use the data collected from you to send newsletters or notify you of giveaway winnings. You can remove your consent to this at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any newsletter or by notifying me at info(AT)lorainenunley(DOT)com

Like many other Web sites, www.lorainenunley.com makes use of log files. These files merely log visitors to the site – usually a standard procedure for hosting companies and a part of hosting services’s analytics. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. This information is used to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses, and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.

Cookies:  If you leave a comment on my site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, a temporary cookie will be set to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, several cookies will be set up to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

You can chose to disable or selectively turn off our cookies or third-party cookies in your browser settings. This can affect how you are able to interact with this website.

Embedded content from other websites:  Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Comments:  When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
