Welcome to this unboxing of a the Fresh Fiction Box Not to Miss subscription for April 2022.

I have found some wonderful boxes. My YouTube channel is full of video unboxings if you are interested. I also share my unboxings on my sister website for those boxes that are not books.

By far, my favorite boxes are the ones with the books in them. And those unboxings I share on this website.

I order this subscription through Cratejoy (affiliate link). Each box contains 3-5 new release books in romance and/or mystery genres and a few small treats.

What did I get in my box this month? I am going to share the contents with you here. My review is not for the books or the items I received because I haven’t read/used them yet, but instead will be for the content and subscription experience.

Unboxing

The box arrived in good shape and well labeled.

The first items in the box were the treats, including two tea bags.

The second item in the box was the book, Tough Justice by Tee O’Fallon (retail $8.99).

The third item in the box was the book, The Master Craftsman by Kelli Stuart (retail $17.99).

The fourth item in the box was the book, When a Princess Proposes by Kerrelyn Sparks (retail $15.95).

The fifth item in the box was the book, Sea Glass Cottage by Irene Hannon (retail $16.99).

Here is everything I received in the box.

Review

What I liked:

  • Brand new paperbacks
  • Romance and mystery genres
  • Good pricing
  • Christian fiction

What I didn’t like:

  • Snacks

Overall Opinion

I tried this subscription service a few years ago. When they were having issues in 2020 and giving subscribers ARCs and repeats, I cancelled. In 2022 they appeared to have gotten back on track so I decided to give them a try again. I loved that I got Christian fiction in this particular box even though that isn’t a guarantee every month. These were brand new releases and the overall retail value of the books was $59.92 so the $45.95 pricing was good. The snacks are not impressive but they are not the point of this box.

This subscription service is $36.95/month plus $9/shipping.
