Unboxing and Review: I Smell Books Box (Valentine 2022 Special Edition)

I have found some wonderful subscription boxes. My YouTube channel is full of video unboxing’s if you are interested. I also share my unboxing’s on my sister website for those boxes that are not books.
By far, my favorite boxes are the ones with the books in them. And those unboxing’s I share on this website.
This is my first purchase from the I Smell Books Subscription Book Box. I did not subscribe, I got this box as a one-time purchase to try it out. This is a monthly subscription service. You can choose the YA fiction or Classic fiction box. The boxes include one new fiction book, and 4+ theme related items. This special edition box includes the book and 7+ book related items.
What did I get in this box? I am going to share the contents with you here. My review is not for the book or the items I received, but instead will be for the unboxing experience.
Unboxing
- The box was arrived well labeled so I knew what was inside.
- The first item in the box was a handmade Valentine Card.
- The second item in the box was a Paper Fortune Teller.
- The third item in the box was a set of postcards.
- The fourth item in the box was a decal.
- The fifth item in the box was a tin mug.
- The sixth item in the box was a clay mask.
- The seventh item in the box was a set of pins.
- The eighth item in the box was a bracelet.
- The ninth item in the box was a character name badge.
- The tenth item in the box was a letter opener and bookmark.
- The eleventh item in the box was Valentine chocolates.
- The last item in the box was the featured book, The Princess Bride by William Goldman.

Review
What I liked:
- I could make a one-time purchase of the box without subscribing.
- Fun and unique lit inspired products.
- Everything was packaged well.
- Quality hardcover book.
What I didn’t like:
- Nothing
Overall Opinion
I really enjoyed opening this box. The products were fun and curated nicely to fit either the book. My favorite products were the letter opener, bracelet, and fortune teller. However, the book was definitely the star for me. I loved the hardcover illustrated edition. I’m keeping an eye on this service for possible subscribing.
I paid $67 for the one time box. The subscription service is $45.99 per box (classic)/$35.99 per box (YA) plus $12 shipping.
