I have found some wonderful subscription boxes. My YouTube channel is full of video unboxing’s if you are interested. I also share my unboxing’s on my sister website for those boxes that are not books.

By far, my favorite boxes are the ones with the books in them. And those unboxing’s I share on this website.

This is my first purchase from Ignite English. I did not subscribe, I got this box as a one-time purchase to try it out. This is a bi-monthly subscription service. The boxes include one new classic or bestselling book, a reading guide, and 2-3 bookish items inspired by the book.

What did I get in this box? I am going to share the contents with you here. My review is not for the book or the items I received, but instead will be for the unboxing experience.

Unboxing

  • The box was arrived well labeled so I knew what was inside.
  • There was a postcard on top for the book theme of the month.
  • The first item in the box was a package of Flipz Milk Chocolate Covered Pretzels.
  • The second item in the box was a Jane’s Writing Desk candle from Classic and Lit Co.
  • The third item in the box was a layered necklace.
  • The fourth item in the box was a velvet scrunchie.
  • The fifth item in the box was a bookmark.
  • The sixth item in the box was a book quote notepad.
  • The seventh item in the box was a card game to be opened while reading the book.
  • The eighth item in the box was the Reading Discussion Guide.
  • The last item in the box was the featured book, Emma by Jane Austen.

This is everything I received in the box.

Review

What I liked:

  • I could make a one-time purchase of the box without subscribing.
  • Fun and unique lit inspired products.
  • Lots of items for the price

What I didn’t like:

  • Nothing

Overall Opinion

I had fun opening this box. The products were neat and curated nicely to fit the book. My favorite product, besides the book is the necklace. I think that is unusual to get in a book box. The book was a nice paperback but I wish it was a hard cover version. I’m not ready to commit to a subscription yet, so I like that you can get buy the boxes individually. I also like that the subscription itself is bi-monthly which doesn’t strain the wallet as much. 🙂 I’m keeping an eye on this service.

I paid $39.89 for the one time box (I got a discount because it is an older box). The subscription service is $39.99 per box plus $10.79 shipping and it is a little cheaper to subscribe.
