Welcome to this unboxing of a the Introverts Retreat Read book subscription box for February 2022.
I have found some wonderful boxes. My YouTube channel is full of video unboxings if you are interested. I also share my unboxings on my sister website for those boxes that are not books.
By far, my favorite boxes are the ones with the books in them. And those unboxings I share on this website.
I order this subscription through Cratejoy (affiliate link). The box that I subscribed to is the monthly deluxe box which includes a book and four full size items.
What did I get in my box this month? I am going to share the contents with you here. My review is not for the book or the items I received because I haven’t read/used them yet, but instead will be for the content and subscription experience.
Unboxing
- The box arrived in good shape.
- On the top of everything was a welcome postcard.
- The first item in the box was a package of Caramel Corn from Deanan Gourmet Popcorn.
- The second item in the box was a package of Hot Cocoa Mix with Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips from Ghiradelli.
- The third item in the box was a package of Pistachios from Wonderful.
- The fourth item in the box was an exclusive Introverts Retreat bookmark.
- The fifth item in the box was the book… The Kennedy Debutante by Kerri Maher. It is a historical romance.

Review
What I liked:
- You can choose what book you’d like from a list on their website.
- You can choose from three different drink options.
- Sweet and salty snacks.
- Lots of genres to choose from.
- Everything was packaged well.
What I didn’t like:
- Cocoa isn’t very tasty
- No email for me to pick the book I wanted this month
Overall Opinion
This was my third box with this subscription. It has been around for awhile and I’ve been watching it, but it wasn’t until I got a discount code that I decided to give it a shot. For the price, this is a quality box. I love that you can choose the book before the box ships or choose to be surprised. Although this month I didn’t actually get that option but I’m cautiously optimistic about the pick they sent me. I hope that the book is a clean read. I’ve had the specific cocoa that was sent and it’s not very chocolatey. I was also underwhelmed by last month’s cocoa. I may need to switch to coffee.
This subscription service is $16/month plus $10/shipping.
