Welcome to this unboxing of the My Bookie Box book subscription box for June 2021.

I have found some wonderful boxes. My YouTube channel is full of video unboxings if you are interested. I also share my unboxings on my sister website for those boxes that are not books.

By far, my favorite boxes are the ones with the books in them. And those unboxings I share on this website.

I order this subscription through Cratejoy (affiliate link). The box that I subscribed to is the monthly box which includes a book, two full sized cookies, book swag and a bookie gift. I was drawn to this service because all of the books are clean reads and are indie or small press published. Members are also invited to virtual book clubs.

What did I get in my box this month? I am going to share the contents with you here. My review is not for the book or the items I received because I haven’t read/used them yet, but instead will be for the content and subscription experience.

Unboxing

  • The box arrived in good shape and well labeled.
  • Right on top was a list of what items were in the box along with the book.
  • The first item in the box was a monster plush and magnet created by Samantha Rose.
  • The second item in the box was a set of hair ties from Tiny Gift Society and “Be the Girl Who Decided to Go For It” sticker created by Savannah + James Co.
  • The third item in the box was a brown sugar cookie from Local Cookie Co in South Jordan, UT.
  • The fourth item in the box was a lemon poppy seed cookie from Local Cookie Co in South Jordan, UT.
  • And the fifth in the box was the book… The Very Real World of Emily Adams by Samantha Rose. It is Fantasy Fiction.

Here is everything I received in the box.

Overall Opinion

I’m impressed with this subscription box. My mouth is watering over those huge cookies. I like that they are different flavors than the previous month. The book selection this month was from a genre I do not usually read so I will be stepping out of my comfort zone. I like that these books are clean reads so I can explore other genres safely. The author swag was created by the author and the plush was so cute. I really enjoyed opening this box and cannot wait to read a new to me author and enjoy the cookies.

This subscription service is $48.99 and includes shipping.
