Welcome to this unboxing of the My Bookie Box book subscription box for May 2021.

I have found some wonderful boxes. My YouTube channel is full of video unboxings if you are interested. I also share my unboxings on my sister website for those boxes that are not books.

By far, my favorite boxes are the ones with the books in them. And those unboxings I share on this website.

I order this subscription through Cratejoy (affiliate link). The box that I subscribed to is the monthly box which includes a book, two full sized cookies, book swag and a bookie gift. I was drawn to this service because all of the books are clean reads and are indie or small press published. Members are also invited to virtual book clubs.

What did I get in my box this month? I am going to share the contents with you here. My review is not for the book or the items I received because I haven’t read/used them yet, but instead will be for the content and subscription experience.

Unboxing

  • The box arrived in good shape and well labeled.
  • Right on top was a list of what items were in the box along with the book.
  • There was also a card letting the subscriber know details for the upcoming virtual book chats.
  • The first item in the box was a box of two cookies from Ruby Snap in SLC, UT. The flavors were Mango & Dark Chocolate and Ginger Snap.
  • The second item in the box was a Canvas Tote Bag swag from the featured author.
  • The third item in the box was a pack of 5 ‘Get to the Point’ pencils created by Kitty Meow Boutique.
  • And the fourth item in the box was the book… The Moonlight School by Suzanne Woods Fisher. It is a Historical Fiction.

Here is everything I received in the box.

Overall Opinion

I’m impressed with this subscription box. My mouth is watering over those huge cookies. I like that they are different flavors than the previous month. The book was something I would have picked for myself and I was really impressed with the author swag being a big tote bag. Plus the pencils are so fun. I really enjoyed opening this box and cannot wait to try everything in it.

This subscription service is $48.99 and includes shipping.
