In one of my March book giveaways I talked about deciding what to read next.  It was also the comment question for the giveaway.  I really enjoyed hearing everyone’s answers on how they decide what book they are going to read next.  Some of us have go-to authors.  Some of us use friends recommendations.  Sometimes it just depends on what mood we are in or what book cover catches our eyes when we look at our  book shelves.  The thing that I love about it is that there are so many wonderful choices out there.  Have you ever thought about how blessed we are to have those choices?  How wonderful is it to have access to so many great authors and stories?

I have decided to have some fun with my decision making process and include you in the process.  Now I do have a few books that are up next on my to-be-read (TBR) list…

Match of Wits by Jen Turano     A Noble Groom by Jody Hedlund    The Isaac Project by Sarah Monzon

But after those books, I am going to let you decide what I should read next.  And I am going to make a book giveaway out of it because I LOVE sharing these books with you!  So here’s how it’s going to work…

I have picked out six books that I would be interested in reading next.  You will have the opportunity to vote on which one you want me to read.  You can vote once a day if you want and you can vote for a different book each time or keep on voting for a favorite.  At the end of the month, whichever book has the most votes will be the one that I will read next!  AND…  I will give that book to the winner when I am finished with it!  You will also be able to earn extra entries for commenting about why you chose that book and for sharing about this giveaway on social media.

Do it sound like fun?  I hope so.  If I get a good response, I will make this a monthly thing.

Here are the six books that you can choose from:

  1. I voted for Stealing Home because I love historical romance. This book also has mystery and suspense, which goes well with romance, don’t you think?

  2. I voted for Ashton Park. After reading the blurbs on all the books I like the plot on this one best although romantic/suspense is really my favorite genre.

  3. Ashton Park. This sounds like a really good read if you like Historical books.

    1. Sorry about the duplicate. The other post wasn’t showing so I did another one.

      1. Sorry about the delay in approving your comments Stella. My comments are moderated so that I can keep spam out but I did get all of yours.

  4. I chose Ashton Park because it is suggested for lovers of Downton Abbey. I absolutely love Downton Abbey and would love to pick up the book myself.

I also chose Stealing Home because I could not decide between the two. I love historical novels and this one looks like it would be a good one. 🙂

    1. I didn’t realize that Ashton Park was suggested for Downton Abbey lovers. I loved Downtown Abbey! Thanks for voting Sydney.

  5. The cover and the fact that I like historicals.
Thank you for the contest. It’s always fun to have a chance to win something

  6. I voted for it because I like historical reads and hope you do too.

  7. I chose Duty Bound Guardian because I always enjoy books with K-9 officers and dogs. It is so fulfilling to read how they work together and protect each other.

  8. I chose Duty Bound Guardian because I like the premise of the book. I am a fan of suspense books and add a little hesitant romance, I have to read the book. And don’t forget the brave canine featured in this story.

  9. Because it’s baseball season, of course!⚾️ I love baseball–reading too!

  10. I voted for Vanish because that book was crazy! I read it years ago and still remember it clearly 🙂

  11. What a neat idea! I voted today for Terri Reed’s book because I love the LIS books and have enjoyed several of hers in the past. If you like romantic suspense her book would be a great one!

    Blessings!
    Jasmine

    1. I do like romantic suspense Jasmine. I’m not sure if I have read any of Terri Reed’s books before. Thanks for voting.

  12. I voted for Stealing Home because I love historicals and I also have two of these books already. I’ve also shared this giveaway on FC, twitter & my Pinterest giveaway board! 🙂

    1. Thanks so much for sharing Trixi and I especially appreciate you helping me decide what to read next by voting!

  13. Because of the cover though I have not thought covers influenced me much! Guess I was wrong!

    1. LOL I get that Joan. Sometimes the covers are so compelling that you just have to pick them up. Thanks for voting!

  14. I voted for Terri’s book because they are always good because I love a good mystery

  15. I love historical stories even though I didn’t like studying history in school. This book sounds interesting.

    1. That’s so funny that you should say that Donna. I also did not like history in school, but historical fiction is one of my favorite genres to read. Thanks for voting!

  16. I chose Duty Bound Guardian, because I enjoy Terri Reed and these Love Inspired series.

  17. I selected Thriving in Babylon by Larry Osborne (Non-fiction) because I like non-fiction books. I am not a fan of romance books or books that just entertain. I want to read books that “enlarge my mind”.

  18. My vote is for Remnants: Season of Wonder. I just retread it, prepping for the reading the final book of the series, Seaon of Glory. It is a great dystopian story of good verses evil.

    1. I do not read much in that genre so that book will be new to me in a few ways. Welcome Jeanine and thanks for voting!

  19. Murray Pura is an amazing Canadian author – talented writing, authentic and well created characters, and fantastic storylines. You.will.love.it. Very downton abbey family saga – EnJoy your reading time with the Danforths!
