Trixi
I have a glass blown pickle ornament to put on the tree! It’s a traditional German ornament (also known as the Weihnachtsgurke) that basically you hide in the tree and the first person to find it wins a prize (whatever you want to choose). When my kids were little, whichever one was the winner got an extra present or got to do something special. It was always fun to do each year!
Loraine
I’ve heard of that tradition and I love having it on our virtual tree. Plus it’s glass blown which fits in with the story we are writing. (Anyone who wants to be part of our ‘Let’s write a story’, make sure you are subscribed to my newsletter. First chapter comes out in January!) Thanks for commenting, Trixi. 🙂
