This week’s book giveaway will run for three weeks and is for the inspirational romantic suspense series: Homeland Heroes series by Susan Sleeman.
What are these books about?
When cybercriminals hack into the U.S. Marshal’s Witness Protection database and auction off personal details to the highest bidder, FBI Agent Sean Nichols begins a high-stakes chase to find the hacker. Trouble is, he has to work with U.S. Marshal Taylor Mills, who knows the secrets of his past, and the seconds are slipping away before someone dies.
Terrorists have been smuggled into the country intent on unleashing a deadly attack, and FBI Agent Kiley Dawson and ICE Agent Evan Bowers are charged with taking it down–only, Kiley blames Evan for the death of her former partner and can’t be in the same room as him. As threats ensue, the two are pushed to the breaking point in a race to save countless lives.
Attacked and left in a coma, FBI Special Agent Addison Leigh has no memory of the incident or her estranged husband when she wakes. Full of regret over letting his military trauma ruin their marriage, Deputy U.S. Marshal Mack Jordan promises to hunt down the man who attacked her, and soon it becomes clear that the killer won’t rest until Addison is dead.

To lose someone after getting off the bus,I’d find an open door for a business and enter in.
Loraine
Good plan Sally. Thanks for commenting. 🙂
Christy Maurer
I slip into a thrift store and buy & change into new clothes and a hat and sunglasses and act like I have a limp when I come out so they think I’m still in the store!
Loraine
Oh, that is sneaky and impressive Christy. Thanks for commenting. 🙂
Janice Moore
I will pray to God for a unique idea to fit the situation. I might swap clothes with someone or buy new clothes when I could slip into a store or call 911 and hide in the store.
Loraine
All good options Janice. Thanks for commenting. 🙂
Elizabeth Litton
I would find a large crown to lose myself in (I’m short, so he’d have a hard time seeing me in the middle of tall people). Then I would duck into a store or restaurant take a back exit and circle around. 😀
Loraine
I like that you’re taking advantage of your height Elizabeth. 🙂 Thanks for commenting.
Linda Moffitt
Duck and Weave LoL probably run or if I had any kind of protection on me I would walk right back to them and pass them in the opposite direction
Gail Hollingsworth
I would go in the nearest business and if that person followed me in, I would alert the manager or cashier.
Loraine
Smart move Gail. Thanks for commenting. 🙂
Loraine
That second option is bold and just might work. Thanks for commenting, Linda. 🙂
Linda Kish
Since I usually have a hoodie on if it’s cool enough and a ball cap with my hair in a ponytail, I would get rid of the hoodie, take my cap off and put my long hair down and I look completely different then.
Loraine
Great idea to disguise yourself Linda. 🙂 Thanks for commenting.
Alison Boss
I would duck into a business or restaurant and tell their security that someone is following me. Then I would scoot out the back door and call 911. I would quick go into another business and wait for the police to arrive.
Loraine
Smart. I like it. Thanks for commenting Alison. 🙂
Susan Atkins
I would go to a store and buy a hoodie and a hat and sunglasses

I would blend into as large a crowd as possible and look for a policeman or security in surrounding businesses or call 911 as soon as I was able.

Another good idea. Thanks for commenting, Jan. 🙂

Maybe by slipping into a few different stores and leaving the back way. Although, running into the police would be helpful!
Loraine
Sounds like a good plan Sabrina. Thanks for commenting. 🙂

I certainly couldn’t outrun them so I’d go in a store and ask a cashier to call the police!
Loraine
Good idea Joan. Thanks for commenting. 🙂

I would zig and zag around to find a public place to enter. I could use my trusty pepper spray if necessary.
