This weekβs book giveaway is for the inspirational suspense book Collision of Lies by Tom Threadgill.
What is this book about?
Three years ago, a collision between a fast-moving freight train and a school bus full of kids led to devastation and grief on an unimaginable scale. But a fresh clue leads San Antonio police detective Amara Alvarez to the unlikely conclusion that one of the children may still be alive. If she’s correct, everything law enforcement believes about the accident is a lie.
With time running out, Amara must convince others–and herself–that despite all evidence to the contrary, the boy lives. And she will do everything in her power to bring him home.

I’d love to go on a school bus field trip to the only place were you can dig for diamonds and keep what you find – Crater of Diamonds State Park.

I used to be an elementary school teacher so I have been on dozens of field trips! If I could go on one of my own on a school bus I would go to any museum anywhere!
Loraine
And there are so many good museums. Thanks for commenting, Faith. π

We have a “farm” in our area that lots of school kids get to visit via a field trip on a school bus. I’ve been but would love to go again, although I no longer have elementary school kids or grandkids. They have lots of different animals they can feed and pet. Even horses to ride.

That sounds like so much fun, Gail. Thanks for commenting. π

I would be going to Golden Gate Park in San Francisco to explore Steinhart Aquarium, the DeYoung Museum, the Japanese Tea Garden & the park. Then in the evening off to Pier 39 to have dinner at a wonderful seafood restaurant on the wharf.
