What is this book about?
As a time-crosser, Kathryn lives in 1888 London and 1938 Washington, DC. In 1938, amid the looming shadow of war, Kathryn is invited to the London Museum to create an exhibit on Jack the Ripper, but quickly discovers that her own sister is destined to become the Ripper’s final victim decades earlier.
In 1888, in a race against fate, Kathryn must decide if she’ll unmask the murderer history has chosen to hide and forfeit a life with the man she loves to save her sister.
My review:
I don’t know how this author manages to take each story in this series a step further than the last. This was the case here with Kathryn’s story. I could not turn the pages fast enough without missing all the wonderful details included. Add into the suspense a sweet-yet-swoony romance and I struggled between finding out what would happen and never wanting the story to end. Highly recommend this book and the entire series. Each book is better than the last and have a permanent place on my keeper shelves.
What I enjoyed most about this book:
Unpredictable and exciting
What I didn’t like about this book:
Nothing

Would I recommend this book to others? Absolutely. Great characters, page turning suspense, heart wrenching romance, impactful historical details. This is the fifth book in the series and I highly recommend reading this series in order to avoid spoilers.
