What is this book about?

Instead of a wedding, Esther is facing radical surgery and chemotherapy. Where is God when she needs him most?

Esther is a people pleaser. It’s never been a major problem because she’s just gone with the flow. Her father has always preached, “Follow Jesus and you’ll be blessed.” And up until age twenty-eight, Esther has never had any reason to doubt it.

Will she appease her father? Or will she listen to the words of a stranger who challenges everything she believes?

My review:

This was an interesting tale of a woman discovering a new depth to her faith. As a person brought up in the teaching of the prosperity gospel, she was unprepared for a very heavy life trial. Her journey to go deeper in her relationship with God was intriguing. While the ending was realistic, it was missing something. This story really reads like a long devotional.

What I enjoyed most about this book:

Inspirational message

What I didn’t like about this book:

Lackluster ending

Would I recommend this book to others? Maybe. Interesting characters, deep inspirational thread, and educational. This is the first book in the series.
